🌟 Volunteer Spotlight: Janice Mills 🌟

Janice Mills has been volunteering in the day surgery waiting room since January 2021, stepping up during COVID when extra help was needed most. A lifelong Tennessean and retired professional in property management, banking, and office management, Janice brings energy and kindness to every shift.

She and her husband Bill have one son, three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. Janice enjoys softball, bowling, water skiing, and crafting—always staying active and creative!

Her favorite part of volunteering? “Helping others with kind words or an extra hand.” Her advice: “Just do it!”

We are excited to welcome Heather Mischlich, CNM to Covenant Health Hamblen Women’s Care team!

Heather brings advanced training and experience in prenatal care, labor support, hospital birth, postpartum guidance, and neonatal critical care. She is passionate about providing compassionate, evidence based care and believes in honoring the natural wisdom of the body while ensuring safety every step of the way. Heather is dedicated to creating a supportive, personalized birth experience for every woman she serves.

Outside of work, she enjoys reading a good book, traveling, spending time outdoors, and being with her family.
We are thrilled to have Heather caring for the women and families of our community.
