President's Diagnosis Sheds Light on Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) and Why Should You Care?

Chronic Venous Insufficiency (CVI) affects millions of Americans and can lead to significant leg discomfort, swelling, skin changes, and even ulcers. It occurs when the veins in your legs are unable to return blood efficiently back to the heart.

Dr. Scott Sundick, vascular surgeon at the Vein Institute at The Cardiovascular Care Group, recently contributed his expertise to a national article discussing CVI in the context of the President's health. His commentary helped shed light on a condition that often goes underdiagnosed.

💡 Symptoms of CVI include:
• Leg heaviness or fatigue
• Swelling in the lower legs and ankles
• Varicose veins
• Skin discoloration or thickening

Early diagnosis and treatment can prevent progression and improve your quality of life.

📍 We specialize in diagnosing and treating CVI with the latest non-invasive and minimally invasive techniques. Learn more at https://hubs.li/Q03xWf3f0
