Dr. Andrew Cha, DO, FACS walks us through the full spectrum of treatment options for veins: from early detection to minimally invasive treatments and what to expect when getting help.

Dr. Cha is a Board Certified in Vascular Surgery. He joined the Cardiovascular Care Group in 2015, after successfully completing his fellowship in Vascular Surgery at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital. His expertise lies in limb preservation and treating patients with critical limb ischemia as well as treating patients with symptomatic venous disease.

This month we’re shining a light on Iris Adamkowski, our amazing Front Desk Medical Receptionist in the Morristown office, who just celebrated 7 years with the Vein Institute of NJ!

Iris is one of our most dedicated employees — always ready to lend a hand, greet patients with a smile, and support her teammates in any way she can. 💪

She says her favorite part of working at Vein Institute is:

When she’s not keeping the front desk running smoothly, Iris enjoys spending time with her son Thomas and her dog Lina 🐶 — and she once dreamed of being a flight attendant so she could travel the world! 🌍

🎉 Meet Vlastimil “V” Buzek – one of our outstanding Vascular Ultrasound Technologists who has been a vital part of the Vein Institute at The Cardiovascular Care Group for nearly 5 years! Based primarily in our Morristown office, V brings a calm presence, technical expertise, and an incredible passion for patient care.

Originally from Prague, Czech Republic, Vlastimil made an unexpected career shift from Food & Beverage Manager to mastering the world of vascular ultrasound. What drives him? Helping patients feel better and seeing their health improve after diagnosis and treatment.

When he’s not scanning veins or arteries or ensuring precise vascular imaging, you’ll likely find him exploring new cities or soaking up sunshine in a tropical destination. ☀️✈️
