It’s been a long winter, I’ve made all my popular soaps.
As much as I love to make soap, I am ready for beautiful weather, new raised gardens to fix and farmers market. These are last month and one from the last big snow storm. I have a few other soaps made, remake of current scents. I’m in love with my new Green tea, I steeped a large container of Green tea with lemon and ginseng. That was the water content, to that I added wonderful oils and butters with lemon and Ginger essential oils. Most all of my soaps have Goatmilk, yogurt and a clay in it, Green tea has nothing but its own goodness of tea. It’s bubbly but way more creamy, a beautiful scent of tea and the lemon shines through.
So far for this year, I plan on attending Morristowns
Red Barn craft fair on May 23 and Bella Brooke’s festival on May 31. Farmers market start in June in Hammond.

Spring is 27 days away even if it doesn’t look or feel like it outside! I have been staying busy making soaps for this coming year, many the same as I have had and a few new ones. Newest is a Rose garden and an Orange dish soap in white ramekins. Summer Farmers markets will definitely be appreciated after this long cold snowy winter.

Bella Brooke’s Christmas Market *( Snowman Shuffle Holiday craft fair)**is two weeks away, on November 8 th. I’ll have several more new creamy skin loving items. Tallow balms and pomade and several whipped tallow balms. Also i made a dish soap unscented and it wll be $5.00 or available with a tin/ brush in a bag for $10.00.

Two new products coming with me for Bella Brooke’s Christmas craft fair. The orange is an emulsified orange sugar scrub. This one turns into a lotion when you add water from the shower as you use it. I also will be bringing my foaming sudsy sugar scrub. Both of these are great scrubs without the oily afterwards. The lotion is a new magnesium sleep lotion, it’s my basic Avacado lotion with magnesium added to help with sleep and leg cramps. Light lavender scented, I will also be making another batch of regular lotion.

There’s a whole lot of curing going on here for my November 8 th craft fair at Bella Brook vineyard. Salty citrus has sea salt and grapefruit plus others. Next is a patchouli sandalwood, then I’ve got a new peppermint candy cane, and a new Balsam Christmas tree. Lastly today I made an orange and black activated charcoal Amber Orange rind. These are all curing, but already made are several liquid hand soaps also available on November 8 , at Bella Brook vineyards, Black lake road. I can’t wait to smell them all, stop in and get some holiday shopping done.

Fresh, Fresh, Citrus Citrus.
The summer went very fast, this Wednesday is my last farmers market for this year. This one won’t be ready for 4 weeks but it will be worth the wait. It’s half a pink sea salt soap scented with pink grapefruit. The top half is an orange lemon with a drizzle of green lime across the top. All of it is Goatmilk and kaolin clay.

River House soap will not be at the farmers market on Saturday in Morristown. I will be back for 3 more markets next week in Hammond. What do you do on another rainy day? You make a liquid soap paste. This one will be saved like this to be liquified at a later date. I’ve got a Balsam Orange and a lavender duo lye liquid soap. This one may end up being customizable to what scent you want.

Yesterday’s Lavender Lemongrass turned out beautiful and is away curing. Now with a couple nice days it’s garden time. A great Memorial Day pastime.

Yesterdays coffee scrub cut and another Lavender Lemongrass in the mold. This one smells wonderful and sells out very fast. Now to clean up the kitchen and if it ever stops raining, enjoy a little outdoors!

Steeping a different natural soap. This will end up a scrub soap from coffee. I’m steeping coffee into a whole dandelion plant water with coffee and an oil infused with dandelion and coffee. All will be strained at the end ( except the oil if it smells great) and I will be adding a cedarwood EO and myrrh EO . It may be called the mighty scrub soap from the coffee grounds, much like my previous juniper berry scrub soap.

I made another Sandalwood Patchouli today, color was a pretty blue, not sure where it will morph to. You can now also get my soap out at the Log Cabins on Black Lake. I’ll post another photo when I cut these, I used a couple new impressions mat for design.
