What do you do on another rainy day? You make a liquid soap paste. This one will be saved like this to be liquified at a later date. I’ve got a Balsam Orange and a lavender duo lye liquid soap. This one may end up being customizable to what scent you want.

Yesterday’s Lavender Lemongrass turned out beautiful and is away curing. Now with a couple nice days it’s garden time. A great Memorial Day pastime.

Yesterdays coffee scrub cut and another Lavender Lemongrass in the mold. This one smells wonderful and sells out very fast. Now to clean up the kitchen and if it ever stops raining, enjoy a little outdoors!

Steeping a different natural soap. This will end up a scrub soap from coffee. I’m steeping coffee into a whole dandelion plant water with coffee and an oil infused with dandelion and coffee. All will be strained at the end ( except the oil if it smells great) and I will be adding a cedarwood EO and myrrh EO . It may be called the mighty scrub soap from the coffee grounds, much like my previous juniper berry scrub soap.

I made another Sandalwood Patchouli today, color was a pretty blue, not sure where it will morph to. You can now also get my soap out at the Log Cabins on Black Lake. I’ll post another photo when I cut these, I used a couple new impressions mat for design.

It was a makers day today in my kitchen. A Chili for dinner, a new lavender frankincense lotion and a peppermint foaming bath sugar scrub. Smells like peppermint in here but a really relaxing fresh scent.

It maybe a frozen tundra outside but my flowering plants are in bloom and soap is very aromatic. I just had to enjoy and share, sorry we can’t do smell a vision.

It’s been a busy week making soaps plus a natural deodorant. Balsam, Sandalwood, Apple pie and an Almond oil/milk Cherry Almond.

Shampoo bars made for all those looking for homemade. These are called Syndets, they are made without lye and are the correct PH for your hair.
Syndets are manufactured by combining different surfactants, which can be either derived from oils and fats or petroleum based products. A common ingredient is Sodium cocyl Isethionate, a byproduct of coconut. These are gentle on your skin and hair with the correct ph of 5. I have 3 different scents, Rosemary spearmint, Rosemary lavender, and afresh baby powder scent. The first two are $12.00 each and the baby powder ones are $10.00 each.

This lovely weather has me thinking Farmers markets, getting outside. I’ve had kitchen renovations going on most of the winter but I did get quite a few new soaps made. I’ll be back at it as soon as I get my kitchen set back up. I’ve got a new Orange Tallow soap and several different varieties of Tallow hard lotion bars and lipgloss, with Avacado. Right before Markets start I’ll be making a small batch of soft Tallow lotion. I am a small batch, always fresh natural ingredients, soap and lotion maker. See you this summer. I still have my Etsy site with soap and new jewelry listed.

It’s beautiful fall weather for getting soap made. Today was a long awaited for Patchouli, the last couple days was Star Gazer and Dragons Blood. My house smells like Amber, Myrrh and Patchouli. Tomorrow will be another Beer Bourbon Whiskey.
