We are so thankful for UT Hospice volunteer London Trent and her thoughtful idea to create Christmas stockings for each patient she visits.
By partnering with the LEO Club at Jefferson County High School, each stocking and card was thoughtfully put together for every individual patient. London personally delivered the stockings, spreading Christmas cheer and bringing smiles and joy to the patients she serves.
Her kindness and dedication truly reflect the heart of hospice care. 🎄❤️

These gifts cannot be taught-they come from the heart🧡 Today we celebrated the Christmas season and honored our extraordinary volunteers though some volunteers were unable to join us this morning their dedication, and support to our patients is deeply valued. This time of year reminds us of the true spirit of giving, and each volunteer embodies that spirit in the most meaningful way! I am honored to work with such a GREAT team!

🎄 UT Hospice, Avenue Church, Paws and Pray teamed up this morning at Life Care Center of Morristown to carol the halls and share Christmas cheer. The children passed out handmade Christmas cards and ornaments, bringing extra smiles, and many residents enjoyed spending time with our furry friend, Moose. The halls were filled with joy as residents strolled along and shared the spirit of the season with all! 🎶❤️🐾

🧡 Happy Thanksgiving 🧡

This season, I pause with a grateful heart to appreciate my incredible volunteers. Throughout the month of November, they have shown what true compassion looks like — giving their time, their talents, and most importantly, their hearts.

From providing companionship and love, to offering active listening and emotional support during our fall grief support meeting…
From mowing lawns, cleaning homes, and decorating trees, to the gentle touch of painting nails or offering a warm smile…
From pinning and honoring our veterans, to animal visits, music, surprise birthday celebrations, and playing bingo with residents — these volunteers brought joy, dignity, and comfort when it was needed most.

And while I may not have pictures of all my volunteers in action this month, I want each one of them to know how deeply appreciated they are. Your impact is felt in every home, every facility, and every heart you touch.

🍂 I appreciate my volunteers more than words can say.
You make a difference that cannot be measured — and this Thanksgiving, I celebrate you.

It was such a joy to share music with the residents Thursday while they waited for lunch. Seeing their faces light up, toes tapping, and smiles growing reminded us just how powerful a little tune can be. Moments like these are what make our visits so special.
