Today is the National Day of Appreciation for Abortion Providers (NDAAP).

Across the country, abortion providers show up every day to ensure patients can access compassionate, evidence-based health care. Their work often happens under intense pressure, yet they remain committed to supporting people in making decisions about their own bodies and futures.

Providers include physicians, nurses, counselors, and clinic staff who care for patients with dignity and respect.

Today we recognize their dedication, professionalism, and the essential role they play in reproductive health care.

Thank you to the providers who continue to show up for their patients and communities.

Across the world, access to reproductive health care is deeply unequal. Millions of people still face barriers to basic services like contraception, maternal care, cancer screenings, and safe pregnancy care.

According to global health organizations, preventable pregnancy-related complications remain a leading cause of death for women in many parts of the world, and gaps in health care access continue to shape outcomes for families and communities.

Improving reproductive health care globally means expanding access to accurate information, affordable care, and the resources all people need to make decisions about their own health and futures.

Today, we recognize the ongoing work of advocates, providers, and communities around the world who are working to improve health outcomes and expand access to care.

This Women’s History Month, we’re spotlighting the women who didn’t just advocate — they built access.

They opened clinics.
They challenged unjust laws.
They trained providers.
They created networks when none existed.

Because of their work, more people — of all genders — can access contraception, cancer screenings, STI testing, and essential health care.

Access didn’t trickle down. It was constructed. Protected. Defended. And that legacy lives in every patient who walks through our doors today.

Since Roe v. Wade was overturned, Planned Parenthood health centers in New Jersey have seen a significant increase in patients traveling from out of state for abortion care.

These numbers represent people navigating long distances, added expenses, and complex logistics just to access basic health care. Our Patient Navigators work every day to help remove barriers — coordinating travel, lodging, and support so patients can get the care they need.

Access shouldn’t depend on your zip code. We remain committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care to everyone who walks through our doors.

This Women’s History Month, we honor the generations of women who fought to expand access to health care, education, and opportunity.

From voting rights to reproductive health, progress didn’t happen by accident. It happened because women organized, demanded better, and refused to be ignored.

Today, we continue that work by providing essential care, accurate information, and compassionate support to our community.

When women have access to health care, we all thrive.

It’s Olympic season, and we’re here for the preparation.

Gold medal routines don’t happen by accident — and neither does protecting your health. Whether it’s STI testing, birth control, condoms, or annual exams, showing up prepared is always a winning strategy.

Train smart. Plan ahead. Protect your health.

Black History Month is also about honoring Black joy, creativity, resilience, and community care.

Health is more than access to services — it’s the ability to thrive, feel safe, build community, and experience joy.

We celebrate the traditions, leaders, families, and caregivers who continue to nurture and strengthen Black communities every day.
