There are over 250 joints in the human body. Some are immovable, some slightly and others freely movable. Our moveable joints should move unrestricted and pain free through what is considered a normative range of motion. That's where our movement analysis begins. Observing the way your joints move is where we start your fitness programming or confirm if a current routine is addressing your areas of challenge. Identifying these areas may indicate the need for stretching, stability or strengthening the surrounding tissues. There's a lot that goes into designing a fitness program that meets an individual's needs and keeps them moving unrestricted through life.

Our Story

Flatten the Curve Update: For the duration of New Jersey’s battle against COVID19, our focus is on in-home virtual personal training. Our clients are thrilled. This convenience, focused and highly-tailored attention is available 7am - 7pm weekdays. Call, text, message or email to get on our schedule.

Don’t call us a gym! Body4Life is a movement-based studio where you build strength, balance, coordination, and motivation. At Body4Life you get the one-on-one attention you need to achieve your personal goals. We skip the complicated equipment in favor of closely-coached, progressively challenging bodyweight routines. We include app-delivered workouts so you can accelerate your achievement by practicing at home between your sessions.

Optional, weekly Dynamic Flexibility Class teaches you to move with grace and power while avoiding injury. You’ll find camaraderie, support and a smattering of friendly competition but no crunches, ever!​ Tuesdays, 6:30 p.m. $20

Rod Murray, owner of Body4Life, is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, Certified Inclusive Fitness Trainer & USA Weightlifting Sports Performance Coach. An accomplished road, mountain and track cyclist, Rod is a Level 1 USACycling Coach, past coach at the USA Olympic Training Center Colorado Springs with the US Paralympic cycling team, and past coach of the Princeton University Cycling Team. Most of all, Rod enjoys inspiring and guiding clients of all ages and abilities to physical health and “functional well-being" in whatever way works best for them.
