Sometimes labor begins quietly… the body knows before the mind catches up.
Last week, Kristina called me wondering if labor might be beginning. What followed was a beautiful reminder that birth often unfolds in its own timing, and that a woman’s intuition matters deeply.
After a long night of uncertainty, rest, and waves beginning to build, labor gently revealed itself. By morning, her body was opening beautifully and her confidence continued to rise.
When I arrived, the room softened.
We dimmed the lights, played affirmations, breathed through each surge, moved with her body, and allowed labor to unfold without force.
She rested in the pauses. She danced through the waves. She trusted herself more deeply with each passing hour.
And then—through strength, surrender, and steady support—she welcomed her baby in a mindful, natural birth.
Sweet William arrived earthside at 9 lbs 7 oz 🤍
Birth asks us to trust what cannot always be seen yet.
The body often knows first.
So much love for this family and the honor of supporting them again.
