Ms. Jenna Sumner received her BA in Chemistry from the University of Texas in 1990 and her MA in Psychology from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2003. Sumner has taught
various grade levels in both public and private schools and currently serves as the Director of the Center for Teaching and Leaning at Morristown Beard School, in Morristown, NJ. In 2006, Ms. Sumner established The Cambridge Professional Center, LLC, a counseling center in Morristown for children, adolescents and families. The core idea of Cambridge has always been focused on providing emotional education and guidance in a clinically sound yet wholly welcoming environment. Under Ms. Sumner's strategic direction, the team assists families in all situations, as they raise their children through formative periods of growth and development. Specializations in Ms. Sumner's work include families coping with chronic illnesses and those facing learning issues. By building a support system in connection with schools and pediatricians, Cambridge facilitates actionable ideas to promote healthy, lasting change. This remains Ms. Sumner's main goal in her work to improve the lives of children and families in the community. Kristin McCormick, LSW :
Mrs. Kristin McCormick is a Licensed Social Worker and Certified School Social Worker in New Jersey. She brings over ten years of experience to her current role in an out of district K-8 school for students with special needs. Throughout this time, Kristin has worked extensively with various Mental Health issues, including Anxiety, ADHD, Mood Disorders and Autism Spectrum Disorders. Kristin joined The Cambridge Professional Center, LLC in 2014. Her professional goals ultimately surround the client’s individual well-being in the context of their unique social environment, as well as within society at large. Life brings inevitable obstacles and challenges; some harder than others. Just as every client and situation are unique, so too are the variety of approaches. This creates specific individual treatment, all stemming from a strength-based perspective. As a licensed social worker, Kristin is trained to help clients build upon their own strengths and develop the skills necessary to lead fulfilling lives. Kristin’s educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology and Mathematics from Hobart and William Smith Colleges and a Masters in Social Work from Columbia University.
