Thank you, Care Managers! The CM Society of America works year-round to increase the awareness of the essential care-giving roles that case managers play among patients, providers, payors, and the general public. National CM Week is the annual highlight of these efforts, during which CMSA, its members, and other organizations work to honor, celebrate, and increase appreciation for the job case managers do in the health care community. This year’s celebration is set for October 12th-18th, and this year's theme is “Innovate and Advocate.”

In honor of CM Appreciation Week, we encourage all of our colleagues to join in the national celebration of care management by honoring our care managers for their effortless contributions and outstanding work!

Alliance Health is a proud partner of Wellness Without Walls, a groundbreaking street psychiatry pilot program that is bringing mental health care directly to our unsheltered neighbors in Mecklenburg County.

In partnership with Alliance Health and NC Department of Health and Human Services, SOMETHINGS is a free digital platform connecting teens to certified peer support mentors — people who’ve been there and know what it’s like to overcome tough times.

Available after school and on weekends via text or video, mentors offer a safe, low-pressure way to talk and be heard.

💡 Since launching, 77 mental health crises have been de-escalated, with teens rating their experience 4.7/5.

A Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) is more than just first responders—it’s a lifeline for people experiencing serious behavioral health crises. CIT’s mission: safely de-escalate, connect individuals to care, and reduce unnecessary trips to the ER or jail.
