Are you a Cambridge Resident? As part of updating our Town Plan, Cambridge is adding a new Health & Wellness chapter. Although this chapter is not currently required, we believe it’s essential to include because health and well-being affect every part of our community. At the request of our Planning Commission and with their input, Cambridge Cares was tasked with helping to gather input to draft this chapter, with help from Healthy Lamoille Valley.

We want to hear from everyone — residents, local organizations, businesses, and town committees — so that this chapter reflects the real needs, strengths, and hopes of our town.
Please take a moment to share your thoughts by answering the questions below. Your input will directly shape the future of health and wellness in Cambridge!

Please share this with others!
We are happy to meet with you, your organization or group to get more input. A draft chapter needs to be submitted to our Planning Commission before the December meeting.

Mark your calendars! Jenna’s Promise is proud to announce an exciting Community Conversation on Thursday, September 11th with Melinda Moulton, autism awareness advocate.

Melinda has lectured across the country on her work, leadership, women empowerment, and sustainable business and redevelopment practices. She and her husband, Rick plan to produce a film “Minds of Autism” that follows the works of gifted people with autism who cannot speak. This film is slated for completion by 2028.

Community Conversations bring in local residents and members of the recovery community to connect with changemakers; this is a means for us all as citizens to become more informed, to ask questions, and to talk about the issues we are seeing in our places of work and residence.

This is a chance for all people of all backgrounds to come together as a community, represent our locality and the work of recovery, to talk about rural issues and more!

5:00p Doors Open, 5:30p Event starts!

Instead of our usual Monday Morning Motivational post, NCVRC is gearing up for our Run for Hope 5k walk/run, and we need your help to make it a success! The 5k will be at the Oxbow Park on September 13th.
Whether you can help with registration, water stations, cheering on participants, or cleanup, we’d love to have you on board. Volunteering is a great way to support recovery, connect with the community, and be part of something meaningful.

Interested? Stop by NCVRC or message us here to sign up!
