I figured now would be a good time to talk about our name EPIC. Some of you may know this already, some may not, but it is an acronym for "Every Part Is Crucial". It applies to many things, but in the office I usually use it to describe how every part of the body is crucial and connected to another; therefore, dysfunction in one region can lead to dysfunction in another and so on. Also, when I give at home instructions and treatment plans, how each part of those are crucial to a person's overall course of treatment, etc., etc. I could go on about the many ways it applies, but in today's climate of the world, I think it applies to each person. We all have a responsibility to not only ourselves, but to those around us and those we may come in contact with on any given day. Each person plays a role in getting past this current point in history and while we should always think about others, right now it's more critical than usual. So, if everyone does their part, whatever that may be, we can make a big impact. Be smart, be healthy, be sanitary, be positive, and be nice!
