🩺 The Christian Physician –
Temple Care Starts with Perspective
📖 “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” – 1 Corinthians 10:31
When we talk about honoring the body as God’s temple, we aren’t just talking about avoiding harmful habits. We’re talking about shifting our perspective.
Too often, health is framed around appearance, performance, or pressure—what the world calls “fitness.” But God calls us to something deeper: faithful stewardship. Caring for our bodies is not about perfection, but obedience. It’s not about control, but trust.
Here’s the truth:
🧠 Your mind matters. God cares about your stress, your sleep, and your mental clarity.
🍽️ Your nutrition matters. Every meal is a chance to honor Him through wise choices.
🏃♂️ Your movement matters. Exercise isn’t punishment—it’s stewardship.
🛌 Your rest matters. Sabbath principles aren’t optional; they’re essential.
👉 Health is spiritual. When you hydrate, rest, eat mindfully, or get that checkup—you’re not being vain. You’re being faithful.
Let’s commit together:
This week, choose one area of your health to view as worship.
– Take a walk and pray while you move.
– Prep nourishing meals with gratitude.
– Reflect on how your physical rhythms affect your spiritual walk.
