Hello SERC families!
As we step into May, a month of growth and new beginnings, we’re here to remind you that support, tools, and community are always within reach.

This month, we’re focusing on building routines and supporting emotional regulation at home and school.

Top Resources for May:

1. Free Visual Supports Toolkit
Visuals help children on the spectrum feel secure and independent. Download a free toolkit from the Autism Little Learners site:
https://www.autismlittlelearners.com

2. Community Support Spotlight
Looking for local connection? Check out Autism Speaks’ Resource Guide to find therapists, support groups, and programs near you:
https://www.autismspeaks.org/resource-guide

4. Sensory-Friendly Events Calendar
Many libraries and museums are hosting sensory-friendly days this month. Visit your local sites or explore state listings on:
https://www.kulturecity.org/events

Remember:
Parenting a child with autism comes with unique challenges—but also beautiful victories. Take time this month to celebrate progress, big and small.

We’re with you, every step of the way.
