Helping Hands Home Healthcare & Staffing Agency, LLC began providing services to the community in November 2008. It was in loving dedication of our founder Karen Sedgwick’s mother, Wanda Majors, who in January 2008 had passed away after her battle with cancer. It was in this experience that the vision to provide consistent, outstanding, and affordable healthcare was born. Accountability, Compassion and Innovation are our core values and that which our staff here at Helping Hands Home Healthcare & Staffing Agency strive to deliver to each and every one of our families and agencies that we serve. November 2012, Helping Hands Home Healthcare was awarded the gold seal of approval of accreditation from The Joint Commission. Upon re-evaluation, in November 2015, Helping Hands Home Healthcare was once again awarded the gold seal of approval from The Joint Commission www.jointcommission.org. The Mission of Helping Hands Home Healthcare & Staffing Agency is to provide the best quality care to our clients. We understand the importance of maintaining respect and dignity with those for whom we provide care. We strive to keep our clients as independent as possible, for as long as possible, in their own home environment. We are not only committed to our clients' physical, social and emotional well-being, but we are also committed to upholding the highest level of ethical excellence.
