Research study currently seeking breastfeeding women to complete two days of collection in your home within a week. All supplies, including a hand pump will be provided to you. Pregnant and postpartum mamas: Please consider participating in this study (I will be!)

It doesn't say here, but this is connected to another study they're doing that is trying to see if supplementing prenatal diets with eggs for sufficient DHA/EPA reduces the incidence of PPMD - such an important study!

They will also have on-site childcare provided by the Early Childhood Development students there for mamas who have other littles. My kids have really enjoyed the sweet college students who've done this in the past.

I got a call from Rosauers last week saying they've ordered in some AfterEase to see if it sells enough to stock it. So if you're pregnant or close to someone who is, please consider buying yours there, soon, so they don't stop! This would be such a blessing for mamas to be able to get this in town instead of waiting for an Amazon order.

Does anyone have extra liquid gold you'd be willing to donate? One of my sweet clients' babies needs to be supplemented but can't tolerate even the super hypoallergenic formulas. She's willing to compensate, too.

Palouse area locals: We are hosting a showing of this gorgeous, gritty, and real observational documentary about the postpartum experience. It follows a couple through the first 10 weeks after the birth of their first child.

This event will start with a 1 hour screening of the documentary and then a 1 hour panel with local birth/postpartum workers. Whether you are pregnant, TTC, ever hope to have children, or part of the community of someone with children, this look into postpartum is SO important. We need to see others do hard things to know how to make it through and how to help others.
