We are so pleased to be partnering with Megan Coats, RD, RYT! She will be offering nutrition & wellness services to our Roots community and beyond! Whether you're looking to boost energy or create sustainable healthy habits, Megan's meets you where you are and helps you build lasting change. Her holistic approach looks beyond food to explore how sleep, stress, work-life balance, movement, and home routines all impact your energy, mood, and overall health.

Megan is a Registered Dietitian / Nutritionist with nearly 20 years of experience, graduating from WSU in 2006 (Go Cougs!) blending science and soul while helping people feel more balanced and more themselves. Her passion for the mind-body connection began with a deep dive into nutrition, where she discovered the powerful link between food, mood, and overall well-being.

In her holistic wellness practice, Megan takes a whole-person approach—addressing not just what's on your plate, but how you eat, how you feel, and how your daily habits support your energy and emotional health. She integrates intuitive eating principles, mindful practices, and gentle behavior shifts that meet clients exactly where they are. Whether it's improving gut health, managing stress through food, or creating simple, sustainable routines, her goal is to help clients feel more energized, balanced, and empowered in their bodies.

Megan brings warmth, curiosity, and a deep respect for each person's path. Megan is also a Registered Yoga Teacher and Reiki Master (Usui & Holy Fire Karuna Master). When not teaching yoga or working with clients, her adventurous spirit takes her hiking, camping, traveling, deepening her own yoga practice, and finding ways to not take this life for granted.

We are so pleased to welcome Liz Samson to our Lewiston practice. Born and raised in the mountains of Montana, Liz attended Carroll College and began a career in criminal justice and advocacy. Later, she attended Sacred Roots School of Massage Therapy and began a dedicated career working for a large practice and eventually running a busy massage therapy business. Liz values confidentiality, inclusiveness, and safety and encompasses compassion and curiosity in her practice. With a long list of tools including neuromuscular, myofascial, and mind-body techniques, Liz has a balanced approach to massage therapy to putting the mind and body at ease. Aside from bodywork, Liz has also been involved in massage therapy education and is always eager to learn and explore.

Outside of the treatment room, Liz can be found surrounded by a menagerie of animals in the garden or exploring the outdoors on foot, horseback, or by kayak.

She will be providing therapeutic massage on Monday and Tuesday from 9am-5pm. Liz will expand hours as needed and soon to be credentialed to accept insurance clients.

Kristin Walker will be accepting clients now at our Lewiston location, every 3rd Tuesday of the month!

Hello, I'm Kristin Walker, as a certified Usui Reiki Master Practitioner and a Holy FireĀ® lll Karuna ReikiĀ® Master I am passionately committed to serving others on their path towards an open and loving peacefulness in life. Through my own healing journey, I found that Reiki Energy Work creates crucial openings for realigning with the authentic self and allowing the body to repair and rejuvenate. The effects of Reiki are so profound that I am excited to provide similar outcomes for others. With these two styles of Reiki work I am able to gently guide clients towards a deep rebalancing and healing wholeness for the body, mind, and spirit. Reiki Energy Work is an ancient practice that perceives, then loosens and clears blockages in the energetic body. Reiki practitioners use their hands and palms to transfer and direct universal energy (i.e. Reiki) in the form of qi (Japanese- ki) to the body which is believed to allow relaxation, self-healing, and a state of harmonious equilibrium. I have worked successfully with many clients-people and animals- and look very much forward to working with each and every single one of you. Please feel free to ask questions. Blessings, Kristin Walker
