Couple things…

We understand that this page name still says “roots and more”.
We are working with Facebook to expedite the name change! They have wait times for changes like these.

We are sorry for the confusion!

We know many of you are feeling a little like we are right now, and we sincerely appreciate your patience as we worked quickly to secure a space where we could continue serving our clients together.

We are incredibly grateful to Angie for welcoming us into her space while we search for a permanent location. Her generosity has allowed us to stay together as a team, and that is our plan as we navigate these next steps.

We also want to extend a huge thank you to all of the local salons and businesses that offered rooms, stations, equipment, and so many kind words of encouragement and support. Your kindness has meant more to us than you know.

For the time being, we will be working out of the shop located between The Hive Tattoo and Danny’s Tavern at:

118 W Broadway Ave

We worked hard today getting everything set up and ready to welcome clients back in! Parking can be a little limited in the front, but there is additional parking available in the back.

Please refer to this post for our individual phone numbers. We do not currently have a salon phone line, so you can reach us directly by call, text, or through our social media pages.

We love and appreciate all of you so much, and we truly thank you for your patience, support, and encouragement during this transition.

Just wanted to update y’all real quick and clear up a couple things…
First and foremost, we want to sincerely thank each of you for your continued support. The amount of texts, calls, messages, and outreach we’ve received has truly meant so much. We have all been very emotional and deeply touched by your kindness, encouragement, and support during this unexpected time. 🖤

A huge shoutout to our salon community—your willingness to reach out and offer chairs and rooms has meant more than we can express. We love and appreciate you all. Teamwork and support within this industry matter so much.🥰

We worked hard today to secure a temporary place to work, and we believe we have that figured out. We will be posting exact details tomorrow. We are no longer at the Roots and More location.

We will also be reaching out individually with updates regarding your appointments and where they will be relocated. This situation was extremely sudden and unplanned, so we appreciate your patience as we get everything organized.

We also want to address our social media name—Facebook does not allow immediate name changes and we just changed it a week ago so we have to wait. We have submitted a request to correct it and are hoping it will be resolved quickly. Sorry for the confusion this is causing.

Things did not transition to the new salon the way we had all hoped, but we want to thank Shelly and her husband Josh for the opportunity and wish her nothing but the best of luck and success with her new salon, Roots and more, moving forward.

I’ve had so many texts, messages and comments from friends, family and clients who’ve become friends & family.

First of all, thank you. I feel the love! It’s a reminder that though owning a business is not always easy, it’s worth the struggle in the community I’ve worked hard to build!

I need to address a few things here. I’ve cross posted with IG so everyone is getting this information.

1. I am good. I’m content with leaving Roots and More. I’ve already said goodbye to the place I loved, —OG Roots, when we closed the door on that chapter just over a week ago. In fact 7, of us have left and plan to stay together. Meaning, you’ll still get to see your favorite people wherever B’s is at!

2. I’m still working. My location may be different the next time (or 2) that you visit me but I’m not going anywhere. I will keep each client updated on where to go for your appointment.

3. The “Roots and More” page is still Courtney’s page. The OG Roots stylists are still there with access to that account so don’t unfollow and stay tuned for the tricks we have up our sleeves. And hopefully you don’t mind a little chaos along the way.

4. I have no ill-will for Roots and More or Shelley. It simply did not work out. I wish her and her business the best. And I will continue to cherish the relationship I had with her while things were good.

Only good things from here on out! ✌🏻

We want to share an important update with our clients and community.

Effective immediately, Bailey, Dana, Brittany Svilar, and Courtney are no longer working at ROOTS and more Salon!

This change came VERY unexpectedly, but please don’t worry—we will all still be working and continuing to take care of our amazing clients!

We will update this page as soon as we have details on where you can find and book with us next. In the meantime, you are more than welcome to message us here, or on our phone numbers provided and we will respond as soon as possible.

We are incredibly grateful for the relationships we’ve built and the support you’ve shown us over the years. It truly means so much to us, and we look forward to continuing to serve you very soon. 🤍
