Happy Wednesday, everyone! Today we’d love to introduce you to our wonderful massage therapists, Tara and Alyssa! While many of you know us for work rehabilitation, pre-employment physicals, and drug screens, you might not know that we also offer cash-pay massages! Tara and Alyssa are trained in a wide variety of techniques, including intraoral, cupping, hot stone, deep tissue, Swedish, Ashiatsu, Gua Sha, and prenatal massage. Interesting post that echoes what we see by the time patients find us. Typical symptoms fading but the pain and dysfunction remain. Early treatment and proper diagnosis is key to reversing the course of a debilitating disease.

A new review summarizes the diagnosis and treatment of complex regional pain syndrome, a rare limb-pain disorder. Early rehabilitation and multidisciplinary care are key; most patients improve within 18 months.

One of our patients had a Zone 6 extensor tendon repair that needed the correct orthosis for proper recovery while being instructed on the appropriate protocol for safe and correct healing!
