image within the community;

■ It is critical to educate the Board and staff and hold them to the highest expectations;

■ Continuity in the provision of services is the basis of good healthcare; and

■ We choose to align ourselves with organizations that share similar philosophies.

March is National Nutrition Month! This year’s theme is Discover the Power of Nutrition. 🍎🥑🥕

We’re seeing a shift back to simple, real foods—more protein, healthy fats, fruits, and veggies, and fewer processed foods.

Healthy eating doesn’t have to be complicated. It’s about small, everyday choices that support you and your family.

🚨 Measles Cases Confirmed in Grant County

Grant County Health District has confirmed two measles cases in local children. Both are recovering at home.

While this situation is being monitored, it’s a good reminder for our community to stay informed and protected.

What to know:
• Measles is highly contagious, but also preventable
• The MMR vaccine is about 97% effective with two doses
• Cases are increasing across the U.S. and Washington State

Local update:
• 28 measles cases have been reported in Washington so far this year
• This is already double the total cases reported in 2025

What you can do:
- Check your family’s vaccination records
- Make sure you’re up to date on the MMR vaccine
- Contact your healthcare provider if you have questions

We’re here to help keep our community healthy. If you have questions about measles or vaccinations, don’t hesitate to reach out.

The old hospital will be used for MLPD tactical training this week. Do not be alarmed if you see a police presence there.

🚨 Community Notice 🚨

This week, the Moses Lake Police Department will be conducting a tactical response training exercise at the former Samaritan hospital campus on Wheeler Road.

During this time, community members may notice an increased police presence and emergency vehicles in the area. This is a planned training exercise, and there is no cause for concern.

We appreciate the partnership with MLPD as they use this space to conduct important training that helps keep our community safe.
Thank you for your understanding.

🚧 Have you noticed construction near our clinic?

Moses Lake Community Health Center is extending Coolidge Street to Wheeler Road, creating a new direct route to our clinic.

When complete this spring, the new route will make it easier for patients to reach our clinic while reducing traffic through neighborhood streets.

Thank you to our neighbors and community for your patience during construction!
