Tawanda CaShaye Rucker, 62, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026, at her residence. The graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 8, 2026, at Providence Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Born on August 6, 1963, to James and Lawanda Pool Rucker, Tawanda liked to collect Gone With the Wind memorabilia. She enjoyed spending time with her friends, and will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Survivors include her cousin, Byron Randolph; and several extended family members and friends.

Tawanda was preceded in death by her parents, James and Lawanda Rucker.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.

Mary "Ann" Terry, 82, of Hillsboro, Alabama passed away Saturday, May 2, 2026 at her residence. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM on Monday, May 04, 2026 at Calvary Tabernacle. The funeral service will be at 3:00 PM on Monday, May 4, 2026 at Calvary Tabernacle with Kenneth Rogers and Kenny Rogers officiating. Burial will be at Midway Memorial Garden.

Ann was born in Lawrence county on August 7, 1943 to Levert and Sybil Sparks Wilbanks. She attended Chalybeate School. Ann was a devout Christian and a long time member of Calvary Tabernacle. Ann was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was affectionately known as "Nanny" to her grandchildren and "Naint Ann" to all of nieces and nephews. She loved to garden and grow flowers, she was an amazing cook and you would never leave her house hungry. Ann was an amazing person who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Survivors include her husband of 65 years Bobby ; children, Angelia (Kenny) Rogers, Bryan (Gina) Terry, and Kevin (Tina) Terry; grandchildren, Kenneth (Chantelle) Rogers, DeAnna (Josh) Pritchard, Jamison (Whitney) Terry, Jordan (Hannah) Terry, Timothy Terry, Taylor (Anna) Terry; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Carolyn (Larry) Williams and Judy Mayfield; brothers, Garland (Martha) Wilbanks, Lantz (Gail) Wilbanks, and Jeff (Pam) Wilbanks; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Mary was preceded in death by her father, Levert Wilbanks; mother, Sybil Wilbanks, and brother, Jerry Wilbanks.

Pallbearers will be Jamison Terry, Jordan Terry, Timothy Terry, Taylor Terry, Grant Pritchard, Kent Rogers, and Tad Terry.

Annie Frances Proctor, 83, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Decatur Morgan Hospital Decatur, AL. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Moulton First Methodist Church. The funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Moulton First Methodist Church with Rev. Eric Brown and Rev. Wannell Scott officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Born on October 4, 1942, to Dee and Ora Norwood Terry. Annie was a member of Moulton First Methodist Church where she touched the lives of many young people teaching Sunday School for over 30 years. Annie devoted her life to her family and loved them greatly.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Richard "Rip" Proctor; children, Cindee (Brad) Tidwell and Derek Proctor; grandchildren, Anna Margaret Tidwell and Russ Tidwell; brother, Willlard (Martha) Terry; and extended family members.

Annie was preceded in death by her parents, Dee and Ora Terry.

Pallbearers will be Russ Tidwell, Harry Montgomery, Brent Johnson, Robert Montgomery, Clay Coffey, and Dr. Charles Coffey.

Joyce Hayden Kerby Dawson, 83, of Town Creek, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home with Bro. Brandon Kerby officiating. Burial will be at Sanderson Cemetery.

Born on September 28, 1942 to the late Travis and Berchie Lee Blankenship Kerby, Joyce was a member of Sanderson Chapel Church for many years. She also worked in the lunchroom at Hatton High School for 27 years. Affectionately know as the "Best Nana" by her grandchildren, Joyce was an avid quilter, seamstress, and a published poet.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Bogle, Pam Armidano, Sandy (Joel) Walker, and Brent (Laura) Dawson; grandchildren, Nick (Sue Ann) Harville, Cassidy (Austin) McElroy, Jake Dawson, Gabe (Taylor) Armidano, and Josh Dawson; great-grandchildren, Zane (Maddie) Harville, Micah (Lily) Harville, Aiden Harville, Izabella Dawson, Asher Cole, Adalee McElroy, and Wyatt McElroy; great-great-grandchildren, LouElla Harville, and Cameron Harville; sisters, Betty Dutton, and Bonita (Larry) LouAllen; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Willard Ray Dawson; and her parents.

Robert Lee Manley, 87, of Town Creek, Alabama passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at his residence surrounded by the love of family. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 27, 2026, at Lawrence Funeral Home with Seth Hood and Jared Hood officiating. Burial will be at Providence Cemetery.

Born on March 11, 1939, to Willis and Mollie Rutherford Manley. Robert attended Hazelwood High School and went on to retire from 3M after years of dedicated service. He was known far and wide as an expert mechanic, capable of working on anything from tractors and cotton pickers to motorcycles and hot rods. His passion for all things automotive was shared closely with his brother JC, and together they built not just machines, but lifelong memories.

He had a deep appreciation for collecting and trading antiques and collectibles, particularly classic cars, guns, and knives of all kinds. Among his prized possessions through the years, his 1955 Thunderbird held a special place in his heart. Robert Lee Manley's life was one of dedication, love, and craftsmanship. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.

Survivors include his wife of six years, Brenda Streetman Manley; children, Shelah (Charlie Englebert) Manley, Tina Manley (Steve) Hood, Tammy (Patrick Pierce) Manley, and Melanie Manley (Steven) Blankenship; step-children, Sindy (Scott) Glass and Jillian (Randy) Hester; grandchildren, Brook (Melanie) Earley, Seth Hood, Micah (Michelle) Hood, Daniel (Brittney) Hood, Jared (Jodie) Hood, Lydia (Nathan Powell) Hood, Jessie (Madi Mack) Cox, and Bo Blankenship; great-grandchildren, Ellington Earley, Braelyn Earley, Avery Hood, Owen Hood, Graham Hood, Kamron Hood, Kiera Hood, Tucker Hood, Finley Hood, Jacob Hood, Jace Hood, Julie Anna Hood, Jackson Hood, Oliver Smith, Aidan Smith, Veda Powell, Khloe Dover, and Kaylee Dover; four step-grandchildren; sister, Inez Manley Bauer; brother, James Charles (Pam Springer) Manley; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Mollie Manley; loving wife of 46 years, Ernestene Summers Manley; sisters, Barbara Berryman, Francis Manley, and Dorothy Manley; and step-son, Jeff Mims.

Rodger Irvin Nix, 80, of Moulton, Alabama passed away Friday, April 17, 2026 at his residence in Moulton, AL.

The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Moulton Memory Gardens with Dr. Jesse Reeder officiating. Burial will be at Moulton Memory Gardens.

Rodger was born in Moulton on September 7, 1945 to Clyde "Irvin" and Tressie Dempsey Nix. Rodger was a native of Moulton, attending Lawrence County High School, and was a member of Moulton Baptist Church, previously serving as a deacon. Rodger worked for Liberty National Life Insurance company for 23 years, retiring as a district manager. He was also an avid outdoorsman and bow hunter, who would often travel to Colorado to hunt elk. Of all the joys Rodger found in life, the greatest was his Lord, Jesus Christ.

Survivors include his wife of nearly 58 years Susan ; children, Brandon (Brooke) Nix, Brock (Megan) Nix, and Emily (Eric) Barron; grandchildren, Carlee Nix; Wilder Rose Nix, Willow Nix; Rebekah Barron, David Barron, and Luke Barron; sister, Genelle (Henry) Simmons; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family. Born on August 30, 1956 to the late James and Lurdean Wilson McCreless, Diane graduated from Hatton High School. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband of nearly 50 years, Clinton Bradford; children, Justin (Kendra) Bradford, Wesley Bradford, and Haley (Mitchell) Prestage; grandchildren, Brendon Bradford, Braxton Bradford, Mason Bradford, and Josie Bradford; brothers, Blair (Wanda) McCreless, and Ronnie (Patricia) McCreless; her pet, Zaeda; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Born on April 10, 1960 to the late James and Kathleen Nix Johnson, Harold enjoyed fishing and driving his truck. He was very particular about how his yard looked. Harold also enjoyed spending time with his family.

Survivors include his step-daughter, Stormy Noe; sisters, Janice (Millard) Parker, and Kathy (Doyle) Hallman; brothers, Howard Johnson, Jonathan (Loretta) Byars, and Dewayne Terry; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

James Eddy Jones, 77, of Moulton, passed away Friday, April 10, 2026 at his home. The family is planning a private service at a later date. Burial will be at Jones Chapel Cemetery.

Born on January 22, 1949 to the late Silas and Mearl Mardis Jones, Eddy enjoyed cars, guns, and horses. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War where he received the Purple Heart for injuries received during battle.

Survivors include his sons, James Bo Jones, and Billy Joe Jones; sister, Penny (Ronald) Davis; brothers, Roger (Bonita) Jones, Bruce (Linda) Jones, and Kent Jones; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

James was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Misty Shae Jones; son, Billy Jack Jones; and sisters, Gena Jones Owens, and Wendy Jones Letson.
