What would your life sound like with improved hearing? 👂

Hearing care isn’t one-size-fits-all. It’s personal. It’s about understanding your lifestyle, your goals, and the moments that matter most to you. ❤️

That’s why we focus on tailoring your hearing care to YOU.

When you come in, we get to know you and your needs, and then select the hearing technology that will fit your lifestyle best. Hearing care works best when it’s built around you. So if you’re missing precious moments, we’d love to help you get those back!

Hearing loss doesn’t just affect WHAT you hear. It can also affect how connected you feel. 🔗

Conversations take more effort. 💬 Social environments feel exhausting. 😵‍💫 And little by little, it can lead to frustration, isolation, and withdrawal. ⛓️‍💥

The good news? 👍 You’re not alone, and help is available! Almost all hearing loss can be treated, and taking that first step can help you reconnect with the people and moments that matter most.

Mindful listening is an important part of protecting your hearing every day. Being aware of the sounds around you can help reduce strain on your ears and support long-term hearing health.

Pay attention to noise levels in your environment. Sound meter apps can help you better understand how loud your surroundings really are and alert you when noise levels may be high enough to cause damage over time.

Make thoughtful choices with headphones. Over-ear headphones sit farther away from the eardrum than in-ear earbuds, which can help reduce direct sound exposure when listening to music or other audio.

Small changes can make a big difference when it comes to your hearing. Make 2026 the year you create safer listening habits. And don’t forget, you can call us whenever you need us!

A healthy lifestyle supports more than just your heart, muscles, and energy levels. It also plays an important role in your hearing health. The choices you make every day can help protect your hearing and support how your ears function over time.

Nourish your body with balanced, anti-inflammatory foods. Eating plenty of fruits, vegetables, whole grains, healthy fats, and lean proteins helps reduce inflammation and supports healthy blood flow, both of which are important to the delicate bones, hairs, and nerves in your inner ear.

Make sure you’re getting key nutrients. Magnesium, potassium, vitamins C and E, zinc, folate, and vitamin D all contribute to nerve function and circulation. When these nutrients are lacking, your inner ear may not get the support it needs to function at its best.

Stay as active as your body allows. Regular movement and exercise help improve circulation and heart health, which directly supports blood flow to your ears and helps maintain healthy hearing.

Drink enough water throughout the day. Proper hydration helps maintain fluid balance in your inner ear, which plays a huge role in hearing and balance.

Be mindful of your medications. Some prescription and over-the-counter medications can have hearing-related side effects, so it’s important to talk to your doctor, or us, if you notice changes in your hearing or balance.

Taking care of your overall health is an investment in your hearing, too. If you have questions or would like to make an appointment with us, give us a call!

The beginning of the year offers a chance to be more intentional about caring for your overall health, and that includes your ears. Small, simple habits can go a long way in keeping your ears comfortable and healthy all year long.

Keep your ears dry. After showering or swimming, gently tilt your head to allow any trapped water to drain out. Removing excess moisture helps reduce the risk of irritation and ear infections. BUT…

Avoid putting objects in your ears. Items like cotton swabs, bobby pins, or keys can push earwax deeper into the canal and damage the eardrum. Your ears are delicate and don’t need tools to stay clean.

Clean gently and naturally. The outer ear can be cleaned with a washcloth, but water from your shower is usually enough. Earwax is designed to move out on its own, so it’s best to let your ears do their job.

Schedule regular hearing checks. Routine exams help catch changes early, ensuring your ears stay healthy and giving you peace of mind.

Make hearing care one of your priorities for 2026. If you have questions about ear hygiene or want to schedule a hearing evaluation, we’re here whenever you need us!

Each new year offers a fresh start and the opportunity to begin laying the building blocks for healthy habits. Caring for your hearing is an important part of that foundation.

Limit volume and length of listening time. Keep your device’s volume below 60% and don’t listen for more than 60 minutes at a time, when possible.

Use hearing protection. Wear earplugs or earmuffs to protect your hearing in loud settings such as concerts, construction areas, or while operating power tools.

Distance yourself. Move away from loud speakers or machinery to decrease exposure to loud sounds.

Give your ears a break. Take regular breaks in quiet areas to give your ears a chance to rest and recover.

Let 2026 be the year you take better care of your hearing health. Make hearing care one of the habits you carry with you all year long, and for many years to come. And remember, we are here to help you!

Picture this. You’re at supper with your girl friends. Laughter erupts but you didn’t hear the joke so you’re not sure what’s funny. You ask your friend what was said and she says, “I’ll tell you later.” But then, later never comes. Has a situation like this ever happened to you?

It is SO frustrating to miss out on the fun and be left feeling lonely and out of the loop. A hearing screening could make all the difference! Want to hear everything your friends say? Call us today to schedule an appointment!

❄️ As the winter season begins, it’s the perfect time to make sure your hearing aids are clean and working their best. ❄️

Cold weather 🥶, humidity changes 🌧️, and heavier clothing 🧣 can all impact how your devices perform. Regular maintenance helps prevent muffled sound, feedback, damage from moisture, and buildup that can clog microphones or receivers.

Whether you clean them at home or bring them to us, a little maintenance goes a long way toward keeping you connected this winter!

Bring your devices by the office and we’ll clean them for you, if you’d like. 🦻
