There are just two weeks left to take advantage of FREE prostate cancer screenings at Sterling Group Urology, located at 16 Live Oak Court in Moultrie, GA. Walk-ins are welcome on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8 AM to 4 PM (closed 12–1 PM for lunch).

Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among men, and it often develops without any early warning signs. This makes regular screenings essential, as they can detect cancer early when it is most treatable.

The American Cancer Society recommends that men begin discussing screening options at age 50 for those at average risk, at age 45 for men at higher risk such as African-American men or those with a family history, and at age 40 for men at the highest risk.

A quick and free screening could make a life-saving difference!

Meet Dr. Kristen Ezeude, our very first OB/GYN resident from Wellstar Kennestone, who is paving the way through an exciting new partnership with Colquitt Regional Health System!

Through this rural track, Dr. Ezeude has been able to fine-tune her surgical skills by working one-on-one with experienced attending physicians, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in total vaginal hysterectomies, laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomies, C-sections, anterior and posterior repairs, and more!

By expanding access to hands-on training in rural settings, this partnership bridges the gap in rural women’s healthcare, equipping OB/GYN residents with real-world experience and preparing them to serve where their impact is truly life-changing!

September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month, and Sterling Group Urology is offering FREE prostate cancer screenings all month long! 💙🎗️

Prostate cancer is the most commonly diagnosed cancer among men worldwide. One in eight men will face a prostate cancer diagnosis in their lifetime, and approximately one in forty-four will lose their life to the disease. These are not just numbers—they are fathers, brothers, husbands, and friends!

The key to saving lives is early detection. When caught in its early stages, prostate cancer is highly treatable and the chances of it spreading are significantly reduced. That’s why routine screening is so important.

Beginning September 1st, free screenings will be available with no appointment necessary. Walk-ins are welcome every Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM at Sterling Group Urology!
