They're always baking up a yummy treat at Atria Anchor Pointe!

This time, they whipped up some beautiful lavender lemon shortbread.

We can only imagine how good the halls of the community smelled when the cookies came out of the oven.

Residents at Holiday Maple Downs enjoyed a beautiful day on a mile cruise down the Erie Canal. "My dad had such a great time," shares Lisa, the daughter of one of the residents. "He can't stop talking about it!"

After taking in the scenic views, they had a picnic lunch together and talked about all they saw. "Dad was so happy he went," Lisa adds. "He couldn't believe all he learned!!

Holiday Edgewood Downs is honored to have residents like John and Rod – two proud World War II veterans whose stories remind us of the resilience and sacrifice of their generation.

Rod, a 101-year-old Air Force veteran, served as an aircraft welder, repairing planes. John, a 100-year-old Marine veteran, trained in San Diego and served in Saipan.

Today, these remarkable men call Edgewood Downs home, where their friendship and 200+ years of wisdom continue to inspire us all.

Residents of Holiday Manor at Oakridge took a trip back to Pennsylvania's past, visiting the Fort Hunter Mansion and Park. The beautiful site served as a war fort, a hub for frontier commerce and a private estate.

"It was beautiful weather, and we had a wonderful time," shares Beth, the community's Engage Life Director.

We love seeing residents explore the history in their own backyard.

Did you know October is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of Polish Americans in culture, science, art and more?

Our Taste Poland event featured classic Central European flavors, including pierogies with caramelized onions, kielbasa with cucumber salad, potatoes and sauerkraut, and sernik, traditional Polish cheesecake.

We can't wait to see – and taste – the cuisine from our destination next month!

From writing music to combat bullying in schools to clowning around the world, Mo has always found ways to bring people together – and that hasn’t stopped since moving to Holiday Hidden Lakes.

Mo leads twice-monthly music sessions during the community's ice cream socials, sharing her love of guitar, banjo and percussion with neighbors and friends. She also volunteers with her grandson and fellow residents at the local food share, showing that giving back and spreading joy is possible in every season of life.

We’re so grateful to have Mo, a true bringer of joy, as part of our Holiday by Atria family!

Holiday Country Squire recently celebrated Moses' 75th birthday. From childhood days of baseball to a lifelong passion for working on cars and trucks and raising three children, Moses has built a life full of joy.

One of his proudest milestones is his 15 years of sobriety – a testament to his strength. Moses inspires his community daily with his faith and positivity.

We are grateful for the warmth and joy residents bring to our communities. Our Canadian communities celebrated Thanksgiving with a delicious meal and by reflecting on the many things for which we are thankful.

Books are better when shared with friends! 📚

Our Page Turners Social Series event was a hit, bringing our resident bookworms together for a mystery book swap, getting in touch with their local public libraries and bookstores, and sharing in some delicious snacks.

Meow! 😻

Meet Stanley and her feline friend Nick, who live at Holiday Hartland Hills. Nick is a 4-year-old Siamese cat. Stanley rescued him from a local humane society 3 years ago. "He's very affectionate and loves to be held," shares Stanley.

We know that pets can make the best of friends, and love learning about our four-legged residents and their owners.

Garden Village had its March social series: "Maker's Showcase". Residents came together to make a variety of things. American Shaman provided Soleful Soaks, which allowed the residents to create a therapeutic soak of their choosing. Residents also made beautiful notepads to hang on apartment doors with Art with Andrea. Happy Plants were arranged with a positive message to remind residents how amazing they are.

Garden Village celebrated Fat Tuesday and Mardi Gras this week. Vaughn Cowden brought the music with some zydeco stylings. Villagers sported Mardi Gras masks they made last week in preparation.

If you listen closely on Tuesday and Thursday you will hear the cadence of drums echo throughout the building. That's the sound of Garden Village marching to its own drums. Cardio Drumming is a favorite morning exercise here at the Village.

Garden Village held its February Social Series: Spa and Sips. Residents enjoyed smoothies, refreshments, diy sugar scrubs, making valentines and most importantly each other. Nothing but love here at the Village.

Saturday mornings are for donuts at Garden Village. Every Saturday morning our community comes together for good times, coffee and the most delicious donuts in town. Our long time resident, Hannah, always ensures donuts are delivered with a smile.

Our kitchen staff has done it again! A Taste of Holiday. Apple and stuffing, stuffed pork tenderloin, candied walnut and squash salad and strawberry cheesecake. Our residents were happy campers today!

Pinkies up! We got sophisticated at Garden Village today. Our residents sipped on tea and had lovely snacks as we dove into Pride and Prejudice. They also made very lovely bookmarks for their novels.

A big "shout out" to our resident Billy! He is one of our WWII veterans. Billy is turning 100 years young today! The VA set up a motorcycle parade. So cool!
