Neptune marketing associates Megan Hill and Dennis Norris, who have become our go-to veteran liaisons, spent the weekend at the American Legion Convention, hosted by the The American Legion, Department of Florida in Tampa and co-sponsored by Neptune Society.
They met with veterans and their families, and raffled off an iPad. The lucky winner was Jennifer Farmer, Kentucky District 2 President. Congratulations, Jennifer!

Neptune Kansas City Service Manager Julie Walter-Davis had the privilege of crowning the queens and the kings of Senior Prom! Twelve assisted living and memory care communities brought their residents together for an afternoon of dining and dancing, and each community had their own King and Queen.
Julie is pictured with one of her queens -- who had never danced on a dance floor until this prom. It was an honor for Julie to be her first dance partner.
“I was so busy crowning the winners that, regretfully, I didn’t get photos of the joy on each of their faces as they received this honor,” Julie said. “Hats off to Chasity Mwangi of Morningside Place Memory Care for all her hard work putting this together. Giving back never felt so good.”

Networking with the Swifties! Neptune Kansas City Service Manager Julie Walter-Davis attended the Case Management Society of America Kansas City Chapter's annual conference, and the theme was “Through the Eras.”
“It was fun to figure out a Taylor Swift-themed table, and a great opportunity to network with the case management teams in the area, along with other organizations that offer services to our senior population,” Julie said. “Always a treat to run into Jenna and Meg with BrightStar Care. Julie also attended the Northland Professionals in Aging meeting, and was the lucky winner of a KC Chiefs cooler, donated by Cara Maggard of Tutura Senior Living.

We are blessed with Hospice Houses in Kansas City, and the Neptune KC team brought Christmas socks to Kansas City Hospice & Palliative Care, Northcare Team - Kansas City Hospice, and Saint Luke's Hospice House, and will be bringing some to Olathe Hospice House. We do this every year to bring a smile and some warmth to patients and their families.
Also, Service Director Julie Walter-Davis attended the Northland Professionals In Aging (NPIA) holiday party, where they distributed about $9,000 to three not-for-profit agencies serving seniors in North Kansas City.
“It is an honor to be a part of an organization like NPIA, where we are able to raise funds and give back to the community,” Julie said.
