🌟 Resident Highlight: Larry! 🌟

This week, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on Larry! You’ll often find him at the dominoes table with friends or in the game room enjoying a good card game. Larry is a proud Chiefs fan, incredibly kind, and always willing to step in and help anyone who needs it.

He loves welcoming new residents by teaching them how to play dominoes and Wii Bowling, and he was even our star player during last year’s Showdown Shootout competition!

We’re so lucky to have Larry as part of our community.

We had a snowy weekend, so our residents stayed warm and cozy indoors by playing cards together! A little friendly competition and lots of laughter made it the perfect way to pass the time.

Today’s Resident Highlight is Joleene!

One of our most stand-up ladies here at Oxford Grand. Known not only for her kind and helpful heart, but for the generosity she shares with everyone she meets.
Mrs. Jo is always willing to lend a helping hand or offer a comforting shoulder to fellow residents, staff, and family members alike.
She has always had a deep love for music and spent much of her life playing the piano and pipe organ, especially for her church. Mrs. Jo enjoys participating in activities like Bingo and Balloon Volleyball and is always willing to try something new. Often bringing friends along with her!
Mrs. Jo is truly one of our golden-hearted ladies, and her presence here at Oxford Grand is cherished by all who have had the pleasure of getting to know her. 💛

🎉 Welcome, Barbara! 🎉

We are so excited to welcome our newest resident, Barbara, who moved in last week!

Barbara enjoys watching movies, attending Bible study, and has recently become a football fan, and yes, she’s a Kansas City Chiefs fan!

We’re so happy to have her as part of our community and can’t wait to make many wonderful memories together!

🎉🎂 Happy 103rd Birthday, Shama! 🎂🎉

On Wednesday, we had the absolute joy of celebrating our resident Shama’s 103rd birthday! Her family generously brought cake, snacks, and beverages for everyone, and we all gathered together in Penny Lane to celebrate such a special milestone.

We are so honored to celebrate yet another birthday with Shama. When we greeted her, she playfully asked us how old we thought she was then smiled and told us she was actually celebrating her “sweet 16.” 💕 Her humor and spirit are just as timeless as she is!

We jammed out to James Rojas on tuesday! He serenaded us with his lovely voice and played his saxophone beautifully. The residents absolutely loves it when he comes.
