As many of you know - we are getting ready to open up our new shop attached to our clinic and gym this month. We planned to offer Legal MN THC Edibles for our patients and the p***c through this new, a brand that brings botanical medicine and plant-based extracts together designed for use in health care facilities.
In the last two days it has come to light that the Mound City Counsel has made a decision to remove legal MN Edible THC products within the city effective immediately.
We would like to petition to the City Council of Mound to take time to hear from those in the local community who are educated in plant-based medicines and are requesting this memorandum be revisited or revised.
Legal THC/Hemp-based edibles provide clinical solutions for many suffering from anxiety disorders, sleep challenges, PTSD, and trauma-based responses in a safe and effective way. For many, they have found pharmaceutical resources to be inadequate to provided significant relief, or they experience side effects. These new resources make a difference for many, we are advocating that adults can make their own decision about using these products and that Mound SHOULD have them available.
As a 25-year medical provider in the field of Natural Medicine, Medical Education, and Clinical Nutrition in the state of Minnesota, and as one of the original licensed and credentialed Naturopathic Practitioners supporting the scope of the profession in this state, I am interested in opening up this for community conversation.
We are in the middle of finishing our 1-year remodeling of our gym, clinic, and new natural medicine medicinary/dispensary. We were opening the doors of our Nutraceutical Dispensary this month as an addition to our growing practice and gym. We have professional-grade botanical infused THC edible inventory on it's way to our new shop at this time, literally to be delivered within the next 2 weeks. We are DocereVita Nat Rx Dispensary on Shoreline Drive attached to the 3soteric Gym and MMA Center.
We would like to be able to place this on our shelves and offer the type of medical and psychosocial education required to teach those in need about the clinical and mental health benefits that supporting the endocannabinoid system can offer.
The economic impact on a community and the traffic it offers to support local businesses has been well demonstrated and documented as we have watched very successful bills pass in surrounding states over the past few years.
There is hypocrisy in having a municipal liquor store to a community, considering the lack of medical benefit from consuming alcohol, but that is not what this petition is focusing on.
Keep Mound's Money in Mound, help support us as we would like to expand services into this wonderful little town, all while ensuring that those who can benefit from the plant-based medicine and THC extracts.
