Tate Topa Consulting LLC

Tate Topa Consulting LLC For 500 years Native American/Alaskan Native people have been impacted by Historical and Intergenerational Trauma. Rosay, Ph.D., May 2016).

This impact includes colonization, assimilation, acculturation, loss of land, culture, language, loss of Native identity, s*xual violence, and human trafficking. Historically, Two-Spirit people were treated with the upmost respect and honor and revered in tribal communities before European colonization. Europeans and missionaries came in and took away this belief by murdering Two-Spirit people. For the love of their people tribal leaders hid their Two-Spirit people and also forgot about them. Two-Spirit is a term that was created in order to identify Native American LGBTQ people who wanted to get away from the mainstream identity. Two-Spirit was created to identify culture and Native identity. Tate T**a Consulting was created in order to educate, bring awareness, advocate, and to train organizations on how to provide proper services to address Native American Historical and Intergenerational Trauma and the impact on the Two-Spirit/Native LGBTQ community. These traumas include, substance abuse, mental health issues, violence of all forms which include s*xual and domestic violence. Recent study states:
More than 4 in 5 American Indian and Alaska Native women (84.3 percent) have experienced violence in their lifetime. More than 4 in 5 American Indian and Alaska Native men (81.6 percent) have experienced violence in their lifetime (National Institute of Justice Research Report, Violence Against American Indian and Alaska Native Women and Men; 2010 Findings from the National Intimate Partner and S*xual Violence Survey, Andre B.

We are still out there doing the work! Please contact us if you would like us to come into your tribal community or organization to do a 3-day training.
We discuss s*xual violence on our Native youth and boys, s*x and human trafficking, missing and murdered men and boys. We promote healing through conversation which also includes a male survivor panel. We make recommendations on how organizations can help to bring in male advocates. We do hands on trainings through viewing of documentaries specific to male violence. We discuss male toxicity. We discuss the impact on males who identify as Two-Spirit, gay, and bis*xual.
We do activities to begin to have conversation about all forms of male violence because we know how difficult it is to even begin conversation.
Our goal is to bring healing, education, and awareness.
