We’re excited to introduce Allison Badgley, our certified physician assistant!
Allison graduated from West Liberty University in 2013 with both a Bachelor of Science in Biology and a Bachelor of Arts in Secondary Education. While awaiting acceptance into physician assistant school, she spent a semester teaching high school biology before returning to West Liberty to pursue her passion for medicine.
During PA school, Allison completed a five-week pediatric rotation with Dr. Michelle and quickly realized that pediatrics was where she belonged. She fell in love with caring for children and families and was fortunate to secure a position before finishing her rotation!
After graduating with a Masters Degree in Physician Assistant Studies in 2016, Allison returned to Glen Dale Medicine & Pediatrics, where she has remained ever since. Over the years, the practice transitioned from private practice to Reynolds Memorial Hospital and is now part of WVU Medicine+Reynolds but Allison’s commitment to caring for local families has never changed.
In addition to caring for patients in the office, Allison enjoys staying involved in education. She teaches pediatric lectures within the physician assistant program, enjoys precepting PA students, and also serves the community by working once a month at the Marshall County Health Department.
Outside of work, Allison loves to travel and spend time with family, friends, and her son.
