🍩 Donut Wednesday 🍩

One of our favorite traditions! If you’re new here, here’s how it works👉🏼 Each week, we drop off donuts to a local business or organization, and they get to choose who we surprise next. It’s a simple chain reaction of appreciation that keeps moving through our community.

For our last donut delivery we stopped by WVU Medicine Reynolds Rapid Care in Mt. Olivet, and they kept it in the family by sending us to WVU Medicine Reynolds Rapid Care in Benwood 🏥

We love seeing the support and teamwork across locations, and it was great getting to stop by and treat another hardworking group.

Yesterday was Autism Awareness Day, and it gave us a moment to reflect on something very special within our own Moundsville Pharmacy family 💙

Three of our team members are not only incredible employees, but also amazing moms who are all raising kiddos with autism. The strength, patience, love and resilience they show every single day does not go unnoticed.

The compassion they bring to their families is the same care they bring to our patients and our community. It is a big part of what makes our team so special.

🔹 Meet the Team: Marissa 🔹

Say hello to Marissa! 🌟 Originally from Chincoteague, Virginia, Marissa moved around quite a bit growing up before graduating from Kempsville High School in Virginia Beach.

Marissa says one of the things she enjoys most about working at the pharmacy is the team atmosphere. Everyone treats each other like family, and there’s always someone willing to step in and help if she has a question. That supportive environment makes every day at the pharmacy a little better. 💙

Outside of work, Marissa stays busy with her family and life on the farm. She’s been married for four years and has a son who will be turning two in June. When she’s not at the pharmacy, she enjoys reading, playing video games, and spending time outdoors on her farm taking care of her chickens and ducks. She also has three dogs that keep things lively at home. 🐔🦆🐕

When the weather is nice, Marissa enjoys archery, and when it comes to food, her favorite treat is banana pudding. 🍌

We’re grateful to have Marissa’s dedication and teamwork as part of our pharmacy family.
