The sign above the door at Surry Medical Ministries Clinic reads: PAST - PRESENT - FUTURE.

At Sugar Check Charity, we are honored to have partnered with the clinic over the past 7 years. Thanks to the generosity of our many sponsors, we have been able to donate more than $30,000 in diabetic supplies, masks, and financial support to help serve their patients and community.

We also had the opportunity to meet briefly with Nancy Dixon, who shared exciting plans for the clinic’s bright future as they continue expanding their reach and impact throughout the community.

We sincerely appreciate the dedication and compassion of their entire team and look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership for years to come.

We had the pleasure of donating to the Community Clinic of High Point this week bringing our donation total to this clinic to $10,200 since we started partnering with them. Last year we teamed up with the American Pharmacists Association Students from High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy to benefit the clinic. We are very honored to have partnered with so many wonderful associations, companies, donors, and volunteers that make all of this possible. Thanks to the team at the High Point clinic that cares for so many patients daily. Diabetes’s testing supplies are essential in teaching patients how to manage their diabetes. Please visit our website at SugarCheckCharity.org for additional educational videos on diabetes created by students and professors at High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy.

We had the pleasure of meeting with Nancy Dixon (President) of Surry Medical Ministries Clinic. They have added a mobile unit and are now testing telemedicine too. We get so energized by visiting wonderful clinics like this. This donation of just over $3,000.00 brings our total donations to this clinic to $28,000.00. Thanks to all of our sponsors and donors that help make this possible.

I founded Sugar Check Charity at the age of 12, and I am now 18. Our mission is to support free clinics by providing funding for essential diabetic testing supplies. We currently partner with approximately 30 free clinics across North Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and South Carolina, helping them deliver diabetes education and medical services to their patients. Since our inception, we have donated more than $150,000 in supplies and funding. Our most recent contribution was made to Moore Free & Charitable Clinic. These ongoing donations are made possible through the generosity of our sponsors and the dedication of our volunteers. For more information, please visit our website at

November is Diabetes Awareness Month 🩺📅

Did you know?
👉 1 in 10 Americans has diabetes, and 1 in 5 of them don’t know they have it (source: cdc.gov)
👉 There are two main types of diabetes:
Type 1: An autoimmune condition where the body doesn’t produce insulin.
Type 2: A condition where the body doesn’t use insulin effectively, often linked to lifestyle and genetics.

Let’s work together this November to raise awareness about diabetes, support those affected, and promote healthy habits that can make a difference. Early detection and proper management are key to preventing complications and improving lives. 💙

Thanks to your staff for all you do to help others. Also, thanks to High Point University and the High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy and American Pharmacists Association students. Lastly, thanks to our many sponsors at Sugar Check Charity, Inc.

The wonderful folks from Sugar Check Charity, Inc. dropped in with this amazing check for $5,000 last week for the clinic to purchase diabetic supplies for its clients. They also donated 1,000 dental bags that contained oral hygiene necessities and about 100 refrigerator magnets imprinted with helpful diabetes information.

Sugar Check teamed up with pharmacy students from the American Pharmacists Association students from the High Point University Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy to make the donation.

We are very thankful for this partnership with Sugar Check and the school of pharmacy! This is the second donation they have made to the clinic totaling over $10,000. Since its inception, Sugar Check Charity has donated over $110,000, and supplies to more than 30 free clinics in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Tennessee.
