BIG NEWS YA’LL….
After 12 AMAZING years of The Pony Place and 19 years making this once creepy place home, Thos and I, and all of the critters, are making a retirement move to West Virginia. To say there’s mixed emotions would be an understatement, but in the end we are doing what feels right for us in our hearts! We’ve had amazing memories here, and I’m so beyond PROUD of what I created with The Pony Place. We thank each and every one of you with all our hearts who’s been a part of this journey!! We truly needed our village to make this all possible!
We are beyond excited (and nervous) about this next chapter!!! We will share updates as things progress :-)) In true to us fashion, the 15 acres Wv piece of paradise we are about to call home needs us. So there’s a little clean up to do first.
The ponies are looking forward to some amazing retirement fields as they all get older and have truly earned this peace of paradise too!! The rides not over for Pepsi and I either!! Just got some new ground to cover that’s all!! Thank y’all again, it’s been an amazing ride!! XOXOXO

Thank you all for your kind words and support over the last 12 years!!! Today has shown me more of why I do what I do!! This is non stop crazy hard work! Every day, twice a day, every weather condition imaginable, sickness and in health, I am taking care of my critters. My life, my living, a huge part of me! It is no easy feet getting this place presentable and ready for parties and guests. I take extreme pride in having things as nice as possible. Pleaae don’t ever doubt the ENDLESS work and commitment it takes to have suitable, safe, horses and ponies for this. It’s done out of love and passion for sharing these awesome critters with kids! XOXOXO

As of now…I DO NOT have April dates yet!!! It really depends on the weather! Hang in there for those!!

To the lovely neighbor that chose to call Zoning and complain about me doing birthday parties for kids….here’s a big F**K YOU!!!!!!
I’ve been doing this for 12 years now, and I’ve lived here for 18 years!!! Whatever you thought you were gonna accomplish, you did the opposite!!!
I AM ALLOWED to do what I do!!!
I will NOW book extra parties just for YOUR neighborly pleasure!!!! And who in their right mind complains about stuff like this anyhow!! These parties last 2 hours! There for kids!!! WTF is wrong w YOU!!!!!

To the rest of ya seeing this…stay tuned…I’m working on my calendar and will have available dates posted soon!!!

10 Years of The Pony Place, 10 years with StormyGirl. Words can’t even begin to describe the roller coaster of emotions, but I made her a promise years ago to never let her suffer. Time to keep that promise. Stormy is 21 years old, not crazy old, but she’s got some bone chips, arthritis and laminitis setting in. It’s time to ease her legs of the burden they now carry. One of the founding members of The Pony Place, and the sweetest soul ever, literally, she will be hugely missed! In the early days she helped with beginner lessons, special needs sessions, and she was no doubt the highlight of almost every party here, happily standing without moving for all the little hands covered in paint loving on her. She rocked every costume she ever wore, and melted every heart she met! It’s her time to run pain free with ol GusGus. She will he laid to rest Tuesday July 14th.

ANYONE who would like to come by, hug her, give her a carrot or apple slice (I’ll provide them:) show her some love.....
THIS SUNDAY JULY 12th, 1-6pm, in the yard up at the barn, Stormy would love to see ya!
She’s happy, eating well, on pain meds, and still loving her favorite herd mates being w her, and the all time favorite eating grass.

Although heartbreaking hard, I believe doing what is right and making the best of it is what she has earned and deserves! Nothing but love for my StormyGirl! Xoxoxo

Crazy times, so many uncertainties, challenges and worries...
In typical Pony Place fashion.....today....we celebrated! We celebrated life! We celebrated Emily’s birthday! We celebrated the ability to create some smiles!!! We kept our distance, stayed outside, soaked up some sun, and took a load of pure joy for some window visits w the residents of a local assisted living facility. These residents have been confined to their rooms for over 8 weeks now! We walked around the entire facility, waving and spending a moment at each window, as well as making some hilltop visits for 2nd and 3rd floor residents. Lots were banging on their windows from above to get our attention, and it was amazing!!! The staff had a golf cart es**rt for us to follow and the activities director walking in front telling us residents names etc. Some just looked, some waved, some blew kisses, one petted Pepsi through the window xoxo and one got my heart...trying so hard to unlock and open the door she was at, wanting to come out! (I’ll be back;)
A few students and their families, AND my awesome husband AND my mother in law were all a part of this! They didn’t hesitate to be a part of such a beautiful day! Thank you all so much! Xoxo
