✨ This is what progression can look like over time.

In image 1 → you can see the forward head, rounded shoulders, arch in the low back/ sacrum
In image 2 → the body is starting to lengthen and decompress but still compensating
In image 3 → more upright (less compression), more ease, less strain

But here’s the important part 👇

This isn’t about “standing up straight.”

It’s about what’s happening underneath:
• Fascial restrictions releasing
• The nervous system feeling safer
• The body’s ability to stand with ease

When we address the root, posture naturally begins to change.

If you’ve noticed things like:
• slouching and/ or arching
• head forward posture
• uneven shoulders
• constant movement or discomfort

…it might be worth looking a little deeper 💛

📍I specialize in gentle, hands-on work that helps the body unwind and reorganize—especially for kids ( or adults 🥰) who need a different approach.

Message me if you’re wondering if this could help you or your child.

You’ve been told it’s “just a phase.”
That they’ll grow out of it.
That everything looks fine.

But you’re noticing things…

The way they always tilt their head to one side.
Their mouth resting open more often than not.
The toe walking.
The constant movement… or the opposite—collapsing into everything.
The sleep that never quite feels restful.

And you can’t shake the feeling that it’s all connected.

You’re not overthinking this.
These patterns are real—and they’re the body’s way of adapting.

When a child’s system doesn’t feel fully supported, they have to find a way to compensate.

They find stability by locking into joints.
They rely on tension instead of balance and ease.
They create patterns that work … but aren’t efficient.

This is what I look for every single day in my practice.

Not just symptoms—
but the why behind them.

✨ Through John F. Barnes’ Myofascial Release® and Craniosacral Fascial Therapy(CFT), I gently support the body in letting go of those patterns…

So your child doesn’t have to work so hard just to feel comfortable.

If you’ve been searching, wondering, second-guessing…
You are not alone!

Could orthodontic expansion impact the body beyond the mouth? 🤯

This is a question more parents are starting to ask…

Recently, a mom shared concerns after noticing changes in her child’s posture following dental expansion. Naturally, it raises a bigger conversation:

➡️ Is it possible the body was already compensating before the expander?
➡️ Could underlying patterns like head tilt, torticollis, or fascial tension already be present?
➡️ And when we introduce change in the mouth… does the body adapt somewhere else?

Here’s the truth 👇
The mouth, jaw, neck, spine, sacrum, and pelvis are deeply connected through fascia, muscles, and the nervous system.

So rather than asking:
❌ “Did the expander cause the problem?”

A better question might be:
✅ “What patterns were already there—and how is the body adapting now?”

Because what we often see are:
✨ Pre-existing asymmetries
✨ Compensations becoming more noticeable especially through periods of rapid change ( and growth spurts )
✨ The body trying to reorganize around a new input

This is where bodywork matters.

Supporting the system with gentle, integrative work (like John Barnes’ Myofascial Release or Craniosacral Fascial Therapy) can help:
✔️ Reduce tension patterns by releasing postural restrictions
✔️ Improve adaptability
✔️ Support alignment as changes happen in the mouth and airway

💡 You don’t have to choose between dental/airway work and the body.
They should work together.

If your child is going through expansion, tongue tie release, or other orthodontic work—this is your reminder to look at the whole body, not just the teeth.

If your child has cerebral palsy or autism and you feel like you’ve “tried everything”…
There may be another layer you haven’t explored yet.

The body holds patterns.
The nervous system holds stress.
And when you address both—change becomes possible.

Constipation, migraines… and fascia?

It might seem like these are completely separate issues, but the body doesn’t work in isolated parts.

Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around every organ, muscle, nerve, and vessel in the body. When fascial restrictions build in the abdomen, they can affect the digestive organs, contributing to constipation. Those same tension patterns can continue through the diaphragm, rib cage, neck, and into the head.

When the fascial system is tight or restricted, the body has to compensate — and sometimes those compensations show up as headaches or migraines.

By gently working with the fascial system, we can help restore mobility, reduce tension patterns, and support the body’s natural ability to regulate digestion and relieve strain that may contribute to headaches.

The body is connected in ways we are still learning to appreciate. When we address the system as a whole, we often see changes in places we didn’t expect. 👏🙌🎉

🎄✨ Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and warm wishes for the New Year ✨🎄

This season, I’m holding deep gratitude as we honor the life and legacy of John F. Barnes, the Father of Myofascial Release. His work has touched countless lives and continues to ripple through all of us who carry his teachings forward.

A note from one of his seminars feels especially fitting right now:

“Fascia is fiber optic, carrying an enormous amount of information… within it are photons — light energy — and consciousness within the very fiber of our being.”

May this season be filled with light, softness, and connection — within ourselves and all around us.
Wishing you peace, health, and that all your wishes come true in 2026 🤍✨

With love,
Vanessa ❤️🙏🏼
