For patients with acquired brain injury such as stroke and traumatic brain injury, NCBI offers the convenience of online neuropsychological testing that can be completed from the patient’s home.
The assessment process begins with an intake to review the patient’s history, symptoms and deficits and an initial exam. After these procedures are completed, the patient will meet with a neuropsychometrist.
The technician will download an application on your computer or tablet so that the testing can be completed without any internet delays.
Similar to in-clinic testing, the test results are compared to a normative reference database of individuals matching the patient’s age, gender, and education level.
The results from the patient’s evaluation are analyzed by an AI program and interpreted by a clinical neuropsychologist. The patient and/or family member then reviews these results with the doctor to discuss the findings and treatment recommendations.
