Cupid clocked in early at RCH this year 💘

Thanks to our staff’s generosity during our Valentine fundraiser, we had more than enough love to go around! Every nursing home and assisted living resident got a little extra sweetness and we didn’t stop there!

We made the rounds at Clearview Home, Mt. Ayr Health Care, the Sheriff’s Department, RCSS, and the square hand-delivering homemade flower bouquets. The reactions were SO sweet and we look forward to this day every year! ❤️

But the February festivities don't end there...RCH is offering a FREE Heart Saver CPR course on Wednesday, February 11th! This class is designed for those with little or no medical training and is perfect for students interested in babysitting, businesses wanting their staff trained, or anyone seeking CPR knowledge!

To kick it off, RCH is offering a DISCOUNTED rate for Cardiac Calcium Scoring! This is a quick, non-invasive CT scan that detects calcium buildup in your coronary arteries. The scan will give you a calcium score that will help predict your risk of a heart attack or stroke.

We are excited to announce that RCH has been awarded two Health Care Workforce Recruitment grants as part of Governor Kim Reynolds’ Rural Health Transformation Program! This funding is designed to strengthen Iowa’s rural healthcare workforce and ensure long-term access to quality care in communities across the state.

“Advancing our mission means investing in people,” said Nicky Gilbertson, CEO, of Ringgold County Hospital. “These workforce recruitment awards enable Ringgold County Hospital to add to a strong, sustainable provider team— supporting long-term access to quality care and reinforcing our commitment to serving the healthcare needs of Ringgold County.”
