Please join us in congratulating Catherine (Cathy) Hertzog as the recipient of the 2024 Direct Care Worker of the Year - Central Region award from the Pennsylvania Homecare Association (PHA) with the support of the Pennsylvania Department of Aging
Cathy has been with Family Home Medical for almost 20 years. Within that time span, she has had many different roles, excelling in each one. She is currently the Team Leader at the Kulpmont Our Family Home. Cathy is always the person who gets things done with kindness and compassion for all. Her number one priority is always providing excellent care to her clients.
Also nominated was Annette Beury. Annette has been with the agency since 2012 and is currently the Team Lead at the Aristes Our Family Home. She has received compliments many times for her overall care of the clients. Annette is very humble stating, “it’s just what I do”. She is very much a team player and takes excellent care of the clients assigned to her. Annette’s clients always come first.
According to PHA, this year, 120 direct care workers across the state of Pennsylvania were nominated for their outstanding service and exceptional care.
