There’s nothing like the crisp fall air and the scent of apples to put a smile on everyone’s face! Our lovely ladies spent a beautiful day at the Pankiewicz Cider Mill, celebrating the season in the best way possible — with pumpkin decorating, a scenic nature walk, and a picnic lunch surrounded by colorful leaves and laughter.

Of course, no trip to the cider mill would be complete without a sweet treat! Everyone indulged in doughnut sundaes that were every bit as delicious as they sound — warm cider doughnuts topped with creamy ice cream and smiles all around. 🍨🍩

Berry Foundation and its mission to enrich the lives of residents in the communities we serve. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the well-being of Martha T. Berry residents.

Martha T. Berry Foundation: A Legacy of a Caring in Macomb County and its Community: Martha T. Berry, Medical Care Facility was opened in 1950, largely through the generosity of the late Henry G. Berry, M.D., who practiced medicine in Macomb County for approximately 50 years.

💚 Banksgiving is Back — and It Could Help Our Residents Thrive! 💚

At the Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility, we’re proud to provide compassionate care to the elders who once cared for us — but we can’t do it alone. That’s why we’re so thankful for First State Bank’s annual Banksgiving, which helps shine a light on nonprofits making a difference across our community. 🌟

This year, First State Bank will award $10,000 to one nonprofit and $5,000 each to four others — funds that could directly enhance daily life for our residents through meaningful programs, outings, and comfort-focused initiatives.

💙 From wheelchair-accessible transportation to music therapy and special celebrations, every dollar helps us create moments of dignity, joy, and connection.
