Saving Destiny is a nonprofit, volunteer- and foster-based animal rescue serving Southeast Michigan. They are dedicated to helping animals who are vulnerable, unloved, and without homes—and your participation helps support their life-changing work.
Proceeds directly support Saving Destiny and the animals in their care.
Come move your body, lift your spirit, and enjoy plenty of puppy snuggles—all for a beautiful cause.
All levels welcome. No yoga experience required. This is a basic, beginner-friendly yoga class.

A sound bath presentation will follow. A sound bath with the Didgeridoo is a powerful and uplifting meditational experience. A sound bath session can expose emotions that need to be cleared. In addition to the Didgeridoo, Peter and Bobbi incorporate mesmerizing male/ female vocal intonations and harmonies using power vowels/ words which bring participants into a deep state of meditation. The Didgeridoo / Singing Ceremony has been used for thousands of years to help the First Nations peoples of Australia to find their way across the land as they literally sing manifestation into existence. Everything is frequency and so when we tune into the frequency of the land, we can manifest what we need. The frequency range alters our brainwaves to a state of deep relaxation through what is known as brainwave entrainment. The sound can be felt and heard and works on all levels to bring you back to a state of what is natural. The Australian indigenous message sticks, Navajo – The Dine` traditional drum, Native American “love” Flute, drone flute, crystal singing bowls, harmonica, tongue drum, rain disk and keyboard drones are also included in their inspirational and healing sound scape.

Join us for the eleventh of 12 Full Moon Yoga Nidra sessions this year. Each will take place on or near the auspicious time of the full moon.
You'll enjoy the profound relaxation of a 45-minute Yoga Nidra. During the practice you will be lying down on a pad or blanket, covered in a blanket, and resting your head on a small pillow or blanket. You will be guided. Your mind and body will organically move into a deep state of relaxation, dancing on the edge of deep consciousness - the place of sleep with no dreams.
The magic happens in this deeply relaxed state. The pineal gland becomes active releasing hormones that often trigger a healing response for the body and mind. Often inducing a much deeper feeling of connectedness. In addition, a practice like this offers the restorative properties of a 3-4 hour sleep.
The hallmark of Yoga Nidra is sankalpa. Sankalpa is a very special intention. Each session will re-energize and support the materialization of your sankalpa, and further develop your ability to drop into the deepest state of healing relaxation.
