We all want the assurance that the very best health care will be available when our family, our friends, or we ourselves need it. Berry and the people of our community have played a
major role in helping Macomb County’s own Martha T. Berry Medical
Care Facility evolve from a humble, 100-bed hospital to a
beautifully renovated,state-of-the-art, 217-bed skilled nursing
facility. Martha T. Berry is p

roud to be considered a “safety net”
within the community because of the care provided to vulnerable
residents who might not otherwise be able to afford skilled nursing
services. The majority of funding the facility receives for patient
care comes directly from Medicaid.

We’re thrilled to announce that is generously donating golf carts to help out at the Martha T. Berry Foundation Car Show! The event takes place this Sunday, July 27th at the Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility.

Thanks to BMC’s generosity, guests with mobility challenges will be able to get a comfortable ride from the parking area to the show. This means everyone can join the fun without worrying about the walk, and we couldn’t be more excited to see our community come together! 🚗🎉

🚗Last summer our Martha T. Berry Medical Care Facility residents—many in their wheelchairs—rolled between rows of gleaming Corvettes and hot rods, admiring every detail up close and smiling for photos! The sound of engines? Pure nostalgia. The smiles? Absolutely priceless.

But the impact went way beyond the cars: thanks to YOUR support, we’re shifting gears toward something truly game‑changing—a Tovertafel Interactive Game Table that sparks movement, memory, and laughter for elders living with dementia and Alzheimer's. (Think magical light projections they can play with right on the table—mind‑blowing!)

At Martha T. Berry, we’re always deeply grateful for the kindness and generosity of our community. 💚

This July, our residents are in need of:
✨ Lotions
✨ Shampoos (men’s & women’s)
✨ Body sprays or perfume (plastic bottles only)
✨ Lightweight wooden door decorations for summer and upcoming holidays
✨ Body washes

Many of our residents don’t have family to support them, and insurance doesn’t cover these personal comfort items. Your donations make a world of difference — bringing dignity, joy, and a sense of home to those who need it most.

Thank you to everyone who has given so generously in the past. Your continued support reminds our residents that they are loved and never forgotten.

You can drop donations off to the Martha T. Berry Facility to Stephanie Hazel CTRS, CDP our Resident Activities and Recreation Manager.
