I'm praying today for those who have lost ones that were brave enough to protect the USA. Praying God's comfort and love supports them not only for their loss but for their daily struggles.
Also praying for world peace, that no one else has to lose a child, spouse, sibling to war.

The power of .... this tree shades my shed. She was heavy with ice and very bent over. Daily, I would hold her trunk and ask her to be strong and not break. Today, the ice has melted, her branches are reaching towards God, and only one branch broke. Call me crazy but I think she gathered strength from my love for her. I'm so thankful she stands strong in today's high winds.

This is a long but good story. Yesterday I was working in the kitchen preparing dinner. I heard "pray for your husband ". Immediately I prayed to God for his protection and his health. I then started walking outside to where he is building, alone, a small garage shed. Dwain being tired and clumsy fell through a hole to get to the roof. A board flipped and his knees/shins caught onto a board. He was hanging upside down 9 feet in the air. He was able to pull himself up and was breathing heavily when I got to where he was.
I asked why he looked so shaken. After getting angry at him for working to much and too hard, I thanked God. I told him I was prompted to pray.
Yes, there is a God, yes he listens to us. Thank you God I would be lost without my husband/partner.

Where ever you are on your journey, stop and talk to God, he is always there, always listening, waiting to answer your prayers.
May you walk in faith.
