They said I was studying in the wrong field. Graduated with a BA in Psychology and while working for the USO in 1987, I enrolled in night school for massage therapy at the Reese Institute in Oveido, Fl. I took my state boards in July 1988 and passed I was officially licensed by the State of Florida at the age of 30. I quit my job as program director for the USO and started my journey as a business owner and massage therapist. God gave me this gift as a teenager and He opened doors that were beyond my imagination. I'm the only Lake County, Fl massage therapist to volunteer at 3 Olympics massaging world class athletes. It was an honor to represent my profession, Fl. I believe everyone should have the right to alternative therapies and take responsibility for their own health.
