She described Kienu’s care as “taking care of me.”

When Joe was suddenly hospitalized after an accident, Jill rushed to his side, stayed with him through his discharge to rehabilitation, and continued visiting daily — often bringing June along so Joe was always surrounded by familiar love and support.

With patience, empathy, and professionalism, Jill builds comfort and trust in every home she enters. Families rely on her calm presence, strong communication, and genuine compassion during life’s most difficult moments.

💚 Congrats to Our Exceptional Caregiver Finalist, Charles! 💚

In 2017, just four months after losing his beloved mother, Charles suffered a massive stroke that changed his life forever. Learning to walk again was only the beginning. Determined to rebuild both his body and his spirit, Charles turned his own journey into a powerful source of compassion for others.

Because of what he has lived through, Charles connects with clients on a level that few can. When he tells a client, “You’ve got this,” it carries the strength of lived experience — and inspires hope in every moment.

“He’s the perfect caregiver,” shared his client, Barbara. “Takes excellent care of me, yet gives me space to be myself and always nearby in case I need him.”

Recently promoted to Lead Caregiver, Charles is recognized not only for his leadership and consistency, but for the heart he brings to every interaction.

“Charles does more than provide care,” shared Franchisee Jonathan Marsh. “He restores hope, uplifts spirits, and shows by example that strength can be found even in the hardest moments.”

Our team had an absolute blast at the Ugly Christmas Sweater Party with our amazing senior healthcare community partners last night! From sparkly sweaters to hilariously creative outfits, the holiday spirit was in full swing.

A special shoutout to our very own Emmy, who took home the award for being the “Coziest” of the night! 🧣✨ If there’s anyone who embodies warmth, comfort, and heart in everything she does, it’s her — so the award couldn’t have gone to a more perfect person. 💚

🎄✨ We had the BEST time spreading a little Dolly Parton sparkle today! ✨🎄

The Home Helpers team spent the morning decorating a Dolly Parton–themed Christmas tree for our friends at TerraBella Cramer Mountain Memory Care, and it was pure joy from start to finish. Pink, rhinestones, country glam, and all the Dolly magic we could pack into one tree! 💖🤠🎶

The highlight of our day?
One sweet resident told us, “I’ve been around for a lot of years, and this is the most beautiful tree I’ve ever seen.” 💗

Our hearts melted. Moments like these remind us why we love what we do.

This month, we’re doing something a little different — and very well-deserved. We are thrilled to recognize our RN and Service Supervisor, Emmy, as our Caregiver of the Month!

Emmy is always there to step in when needed, no matter the situation. She is the true embodiment of what it means to be a Home Helper — compassionate, dedicated, steady, and deeply committed to the people we serve. Owner Jessica often jokes that she may be the “brains behind the operation,” but Emmy is without a doubt the heart.

Not only does Emmy shine in her role, but she has literally shined on stage. Did you know she once competed in the Miss Arkansas Pageant? Her heart continues to take all of us “Somewhere Over the Rainbow.” 🌈💚
