Great to see seniors having fun and becoming more connected to loved ones through VR! 🥽

While many like to focus on the negatives associated with new technologies, we must remember that technology can be used to do so much good, including helping homebound seniors have more daily interaction with their loved ones and friends.

Some of the same challenges facing the hospital-at-home model🏥🏡 enumerated in this article in The New York Times are similar to the challenges Clare Medical of New Jersey faced when we pioneered a new delivery model for providing primary care in the home.

Our model of transitioning care from the traditional brick-and-mortar office setting to the home was initially met with skepticism and many challenges, especially pre-Covid.

But, over the past 8 years, we have persevered and continued to develop, refine, and adapt our in-home primary care model to meet the needs of our patients. After a lot of hard work we have ultimately succeeded in transforming how senior citizens receive primary care in the state of New Jersey.

Based on our own experiences transitioning primary care from the office to the home, we believe that the hospital-to-home model discussed in this article is also doable. Our national healthcare system simply has to want it to succeed.

No doubt, change in healthcare comes slowly. The pace of progress and the willingness on the part of the medical establishment to adapt has not been quick, but healthcare is always evolving. Our model of in-home medical care will continue to grow and thrive if the system allows it to.

This week, we celebrated Clare Medical of New Jersey co-founder and CEO, Ron Lipstein's birthday! 🎂 🧡

Clare was founded on Ron Lipstein's vision to make proactive, high-touch, in-home medical care accessible to all New Jersey seniors. He witnessed his own family struggle to care for his father who suffered from Parkinson's. This experience motivated him to launch a healthcare service that would provide physician house-calls and make it easier for other families enduring similar circumstances.

Today, Clare Medical combines the human touch with remote patient monitoring and the latest technology, including an AI-powered diagnostic tool that can help prevent hospital readmissions.
