Our staff and all of those in the funeral business everywhere around the world are there for folks on a daily basis, in more ways than one. We become rocks for folks that have had someone close to them pass away. We become emotional support, a shoulder to cry on, and on and on and then we go home and do it again the next day, and we count it an honor to be able to do that.

Yesterday, we ourselves lost someone very dear to us unexpectedly, one of our very own - Mrs. Dottie Maloy, and we and her family need you. We need your thoughts and prayers! Dottie has worked for Woodlawn alongside her husband Patrick, for nearly 10 years and we here at Woodlawn, along with her family, are hurting. We miss Dottie dearly already. She leaves a void that won't be filled. Please keep our Woodlawn family and Dottie's family in your thoughts and prayers and please, please hug your loved ones and tell them you love them. Life is but a v***r........
