This patient came to the Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic after experiencing lower back pain described as “sharp, shooting pain.” They turned to over the counter medications for pain relief, but still felt “unable to do a thing” in regards to their symptoms affecting work, family, hobbies, exercise and social life.

This patient was referred by family and started feeling better after just 3 adjustments!

Their impression of the clinic and staff was that they were “very professional and explained what was going on.” They would like others to know that “they cared about me getting better.” They were “very friendly.”

F.B. came to the Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic after experiencing severe pain all over their body for 2 months. They described it as “excruciating pain when using any muscles.” This had a direct impact on their quality of life, stating they “couldn’t sleep, shower, dress, or lift legs.”

F.B. was frequently using pain medications, but the symptoms would return as soon as they stopped using them. Because of this, F.B. says, “I couldn’t work or exercise. I cancelled Easter dinner with my family, I couldn’t be around my great-grandchildren and couldn’t attend church services.”

Callie S. came to the Gonstead Clinic of Chiropractic with a history of lower back pain that worsened as the week went on. She described it as “pain radiating to hips and some stabbing pain in both feet.”

On her worst days, Callie felt frustrated. Her back pain made her feel pain all over and impacted her sleep. Her thoughts were clouded stating, “All you think about is how your day is going to be like with pain…it was constantly in the back of your mind.” There were days she was unable to carry out her work duties and would even need to leave early.

Callie felt some relief with Physical Therapy to strengthen her core, but was still relying on daily over-the-counter pain medications.

With regular spinal care, Callie is now able to “sleep better, feel less fatigue, and work normal hours with little to no discomfort.”

Callie’s impression of the Gonstead team was that they are “very genuine and care about you personally.”

Dr. Doug Cox recently celebrated 60 years as a chiropractor and for 55 of those years he has been treating Robert here at the Gonstead Clinic.

We hope you are as excited about our PUBLIC TOUR this weekend as we are!!! We will be open Sat 9-5 and Sun 10-4. Here are a few things to keep in mind:

1. This is a self-guided tour.
2. Look for the PINK STARS marking each stop on the tour. There are 12 stops!
3. Follow the PINK ARROWS on the floor, guiding the way.
4. We kindly ask that you DO NOT OPEN doors that are closed.
5. Restrooms WILL NOT be available.
6. A portion of the tour is on the lower level with no handicap access. Please ask for assistance, and we will gladly guide you through the main level.
