Glow Massage By appointment only Mon/Tue/Thu/Fri.

I've had a handful of scheduling mishaps recently, and I apologize to anyone affected! From here on out, I will make sure to specify the date & day & time in our correspondence.

I ask of my clients to, please, pay attention to the texts from my booking system. If we can work together, we can get these issues sorted out as soon as we recognize them & before we get too disappointed.

The first text comes when I book your appointment. The second text should come 24 hours prior to your appointment. The third text will come 2 hours prior to your appointment.

The texts do not come from me. They come from a short code number from my booking system. If changes need to be made, you'll need to reach out to me on facebook messenger, or text my phone number.

What a privilege it is to sit with folks through some of the hardest transitions of life. Thank you for allowing me to hold space for you. ❤️

It was so nice coming into a clean shop--that I didn't clean--this morning! Thank you, Tessa Ray, for getting me squared away 💖 Y'all get a hold of her for your cleaning needs.

3am appointments are not something I do. Be advised, if I have even just a sliver of suspicion about your intentions, you will be blocked. You will also be posted so that my fellow LMTs will know what to look out for.

Folks ask me how often they should come in for massage. If you have a specific issue you are wanting to see improved (therapeutic), my recommendation is *at least* once a week until you see improvement, then once every 4-6 weeks.

It really depends on what your schedule and wallet can afford. Massage can be viewed as a luxury, but for those of us who have seen first hand what consistency produces, it is a necessary expense.

And of course, if you're just wanting to relax, there's no definitive course of action for that. It's just whenever you feel like it! Personally, I try to get a massage once a month, but start feeling the need for one about every 3 weeks 💙

If you come to me for a "facial," you'll choose between one of two things:

1. An extravagant face washing with products that I purchase because they have worked for me (see attached pic), a face steam & hot towels
-Or-
2. An extended facial massage with essential oils (look up the benefits of frankincense) with jojoba as a carrier

Both are great, but keep in mind that I am a massage therapist, not an esthetician. I am not certified/schooled/licensed to do what they do: no chemical peels, no extractions, no professional opinion whatsoever about skin issues. My "facials" are for the purpose of therapeutic relaxation.

My facial massages, however, can help with lymphatic drainage, TMJ, sinus pressure & headaches, and even produce a face-lifting effect by targeting areas that tend to hold tension & drag you down.

Friendly reminder: this face cradle was not engineered to hold more than the weight of your head. Don't push down on it as you adjust yourself, or try to prop up on it...it will make a terrible noise as it collapses down.

This happens, at least, once a day 😂

Low back pain? Bolstering my clients' knees up on a 12" wedge pillow for the duration of the first half of the session has been producing great effects. And the best part? You can do this very thing at home for yourself. The trick is to lay that way for at least 15-20 minutes to give those muscles time to loosen up. Try just one side at a time for an even better outcome 🙂

Hot Towels are a favorite tool of mine! Every session includes them unless requested otherwise. Not only does the warmth help to ease your tension, but also the friction of the fabric as it's used to wipe away access lotion from your feet and back is such an indulgent end to your session.

And not to mention the one placed under your neck at the beginning of your session! That one, wrapped in a dry towel to help retain heat, supports your neck & delivers a steady warmth until you flip over.

Each client & massage is different, but this is typically the order I follow. And it's my opinion that nothing beats a good scalp & face massage!

Massage & Me

My name is Jessica (Saveall) Rutledge, and my interest in massage spans half of my life! Due to my own issues, I’ve been getting massages since my early twenties. In my early thirties, I had developed a curiosity for massage as my own personal career path. However, for one reason or another, I put it off. It wasn’t until the Fall of 2018 that I was able to make it a reality. I enrolled at Radiance School of Massage located in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and about a year later, I was licensed!

For once in my life, I truly enjoy what I do. Bringing healing, relaxation, and comfort to my clients is truly the most fulfilling work I could ever aspire to carry out. I chose to name my practice “Glow Massage” because of that look most people get after a session...that rested, mildly intoxicated, and pleased look. I love it!
