If you are a client of mine, you’ve probably caught me with my eyes closed. Something about separating myself from what I see allows me to drop deeper into my hands and to achieve a state of FLOW ✨

As a professional massage therapist I do peek at my clients’ face when I am using deeper pressure or a new technique to make sure I’m not causing any pain. I also make sure that there are no bruises or abrasions before I begin working.

Other than that, I am usually zoned out, Or TUNED IN, rather. When in this state of mind I can fully focus on the layers of tissue beneath my hands and hopefully allow my client to pick up on my state of calm. 🧘🏽‍♀️
