🎲 NOW ENROLLING | Social Adventure Group

We’re so excited to offer a unique 8-week Social Adventure Group at Bloom Pediatric Therapy this summer!

This small group, led by our Occupational Therapy Assistant uses a fun, Dungeons & Dragons-inspired format to help children build:
✨ Cooperation
✨ Flexible thinking
✨ Problem solving
✨ Friendship skills
✨ Emotional regulation

👧 Ages: 9–11
📅 When: Mondays in June 1 - July 20
⏰ Final times coming soon (based on interest!)
💰 Cost: $480 total ($440 early enrollment rate - enroll by May 7th)
👥 Group Size: 3–4
🌟 A second group may be formed based on interest! Possibly an older group!
👉 No current plan of care is required to participate

we’re actually building the foundation for growth and development!

We had a blast this week celebrating Earth Day at Bloom 🌎💚

From planting seeds and exploring themed sensory bins to learning about recycling, caring for our planet, and using our hands to create fun “green” crafts—our kiddos worked on so many skills while learning to love the world around them.

Helping little hands grow while taking care of our big world 🌱✨

This week, we’re talking about sensory processing and regulation!

Occupational therapists help kids make sense of their senses!

If a child seems easily overwhelmed, constantly on the move, or seeking certain sensations, it may be related to how they process sensory input.

Through fun, purposeful activities, we help “fill the sensory cup” so kids can feel more regulated, confident, and ready to learn 💛

We had a blast this week learning all things weather! ⛈️☀️🌈
From weather vocabulary and sensory bins to rainbow and cloud making, plus learning how to dress for the forecast—our kiddos had so much fun while building new skills!

Celebrating Chloe, our awesome Level 1 OT student!

Chloe is a Belmont OT student who has been with us at Bloom for the past few months. Her willingness to learn and jump right in made such a positive impact on our team and the kiddos we serve!

This week, we’re talking all about fine motor skills!

Fine motor skills involve the small muscles of the body including the hands, fingers, and even the face!

From coloring and cutting to buttons and zippers, OT helps kids build the hand strength, coordination, and control they need for everyday independence.
