📚The Suboccipital muscles often present as neck pain leading to headaches. The muscles are right at the base of the skull.

⚡️Symptoms often present as headaches on once side of the head that refer to behind the eye and same side of the face. The pain is usually worse with movement of the neck and pushing into the Suboccipital muscles.

Try these 3 exercises!
1: Place a firm ball right at the base of the skull and gently roll across the ball for 5-10 seconds
2: Tuck your chin to your chest, and lift your forehead straight toward the ceiling. Hold 5-10 seconds, repeat 2-3 times
3: Sitting in a chair, squeeze your shoulder blades together while giving yourself a double chin. The tighter the chin tuck the better! Hold 5-10 seconds, repeat 2-3 times.

❤️How can we help? We use a combination of electrical stimulation, muscle work, and adjustments to help alleviate tension on the Suboccipital muscles/ upper cervical joints.
