⭐️Magna Wave Day⭐️

During our down time our amazing friend is giving our herd some extra love and attention with her Magna Wave. The magna wave addresses areas of soreness and inflammation and the sessions are super relaxing and reinvigorating

Our equine partners deserve the very best and we are so happy to have friends like Paula to help us give them TLC.

How happy does Lilly look? Full spa mode 🧖‍♀️🐴❤️

As we look back on this year, one thing is abundantly clear: Endeavor is powered by people who show up with heart. 💚

Our volunteers give their time, energy, and compassion so generously—helping create a space where every participant feels supported, encouraged, and truly seen. From grooming horses and offering steady hands during lessons to celebrating every small victory, their impact is felt every single day.

Today, we’re proud to celebrate the volunteers who make Endeavor possible. As we close out the year, we invite our Endeavor family to consider a year-end gift in support of our volunteer program and the incredible individuals who give so much to our participants and horses.

Thank you for helping us honor the people who keep Endeavor running strong. 🐎✨

10 Weeks of Growth, Skill Building, and Healing 🤎
Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship × Bedford Hills Correctional Facility

This week, we wrapped up our 10-week therapeutic and vocational equine program at Bedford Hills Correction Center. Participants worked through the GroomElite curriculum, building hands-on horsemanship skills while receiving trauma-informed therapeutic support.

Their reflections highlight the meaningful impact of this work, and we are deeply grateful for their trust, participation, and growth—as well as for our dedicated team and horses who make these programs possible.

On this Giving Tuesday, we are celebrating one of the most meaningful pillars of our mission: access. Every year, Endeavor’s Scholarship Program ensures that children, adults, and families experiencing financial hardship can participate in the equine-assisted services that support their growth, healing, and confidence.

Today only, Endeavor will match all donations - doubling your impact for the Endeavor community. You can help bridge the gap between raised scholarship funds and the significantly increased need for our programs this year.

Each year, our goal is to raise $75,000 to meet the scholarship needs of our participants. To date, Endeavor has awarded more than $450,000 in scholarship funds, allowing hundreds of individuals to benefit from life-changing programming.

The Charlie Rose Memorial Fund Scholarship

One of the most impactful components of our Scholarship Program is the Charlie Rose Memorial Fund, created in remembrance of Charlie Rose — a beloved Endeavor volunteer whose joy, generosity, and kindness touched everyone around him. The winter season was Charlie’s favorite time of year. In the 7 ½ years since his passing, the Charlie Rose Memorial Fund has carried his spirit forward in extraordinary ways supporting:

400+ veterans
50+ refugee children
54 incarcerated women
125 children with disabilities
15 school field trips
100+ youth living in residential care

…and so much more. Charlie would be thrilled by the impact his legacy continues to make.

Celebrate this Giving Tuesday and Make Your Gift Go Twice As Far:
Your our donation today ensures that every individual, regardless of circumstance, has the opportunity to experience the transformative power of our horses.

Thank you for your kindness, your generosity, and for remembering Charlie today.

The Endeavor team had an incredible few days at the PATH Intl. Conference in Colorado ✨ From inspiring continuing-education seminars to connecting with fellow professionals in the equine-assisted services field, it was such a special time to learn, grow, and be together.

A HUGE congratulations to Sarah Jane Casey, who was named PATH Intl. Instructor of the Year — an extraordinary honor awarded to just one instructor out of more than 4,500 eligible nationwide. We couldn’t be more proud! 🐴🏆🥇

We’re committed to ongoing education and professional development so we can continue providing the highest-quality experience for every participant! 💚

Our Story

Endeavor Therapeutic Horsemanship, Inc.’s mission is to empower individuals with a broad range of special needs by providing the highest quality equine assisted activities and therapies in an inclusive and welcoming environment.

Endeavor was founded in 2014 by a group of dedicated, highly trained therapeutic riding professionals to provide high quality, innovative, equine-assisted activities for children and adults with special needs and their families from throughout the New York metro area. Sited on an expansive, 50-acre farm in equine-oriented Bedford, New York, the organization provides a breadth of highly customized direct service programs that support the development of physical, cognitive, emotional and social skills of participants with a wide range of diagnoses, disabilities and challenging histories including: trauma, addiction, autism spectrum disorders, multiple sclerosis, traumatic brain injury, cancer, stroke, cerebral palsy, global development delay, down syndrome, epilepsy, abuse, sexual trafficking, sexual exploitation, Lyme disease, visual impairment, hearing impairment, and PTSD, among others.

The organization is guided by a philosophy of inclusion that is reflected in the way in which horses are incorporated into treatment interventions as valuable partners, and able-bodied siblings are encouraged to participate in all activities side-by-side with their participating brothers and sisters. Participants at Endeavor are not limited by perceptions or boundaries and are encouraged and supported to set and meet stretch goals that are often far beyond even their own expectations.
