We are so grateful to have our pup Bryce feeling well again!

A couple of weeks ago, Bryce abruptly started vomiting repeatedly. Of course this happened overnight on a weekend so labwork performed at the ER Katonah Bedford Veterinary Center revealed elevated liver values and treatment was initiated.

Recheck labwork after several days of treatment showed an improvement in his liver values but he was not completely well so further investigation was pursued.

An abdominal ultrasound at our hospital VCA Mount Kisco Veterinary Clinic revealed a significantly thickened stomach wall. After adjustment to his treatment plan based on this new information and several recheck ultrasounds/labs later, his abnormalities resolved and he's back to feeling well! That was quite an illness for our boy, we are so grateful that he is okay 🥰

Tremendously successful move to our new hospital location in Mount Kisco today! All the staff and our families put in a lot of work to get it all set up. Looking forward to helping all our wonderful patients at the brand new location starting Monday!

For many of us, being a veterinarian is a life calling and it is a privilege to be able to provide care to our patients. Sometimes we have to take a collective look around and remember that all of us are only human ❤️
I do not personally know the situation referenced in this video or these particular people but similar scenarios play out time and time again when grief may cloud judgement. The message is solid - let's remember to be kind, even when it isn't easy.
